    It is constitutional crisis if he becomes president. It is the solemn duty of Congress to elect their speaker. Procrastinating won't help, they already know each other - too well. Jordan was slamming talks of some Republicans working with Democrats but maybe they should. Might bring us closer together.

    Apparently, the GOP feels so void of leadership they are going to put up a resolution to empower McHenry for 30 days. Horrible idea, hope it fails if offered.

    They are lowering the bar. Reminds me of a limbo contest. Could get pretty low. Jordan is not very big, but I can't speak to his flexibility.

    I think the other speaker elections have had issues but they didn't air their dirty laundry like this. It is diminishing the institution.

    They shouldn't have another floor vote until they've decided the winner behind closed doors. They're making the Democrats look good, which is not an easy task.

    Smart teacher. I recall an insane amount of algebra when solving differential equations which isn’t a very good use of class time.

    This is what their constituents asked for and this is what we got. They may lose some peripheral support but the base is very happy with this outcome.

    T Sometimes while walking or biking I pencil out a simulation using 3d models to develop or improve wrestling techniques. The simulation would have to be really good. It is the minute details that separate success from failure.

    Once upon a time, there was a group of Republicans similar to Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Trump, much like a cuckoo bird, forced them out of the nest and now the GOP feeds exclusively him.
