No skin in the game, but if you are happy with these results your ok with mediocracy, and that is fine -8th in Big Ten, way -Tied for 12th for worst placement vs. seed differential (Its under Stats in trackwrestling). -Mechler 14th seed, placing somewhere around 11-13th was the best of the weekend. Otherwise not one wrestler ended up placing higher then their seed with Maylor only the one that placed at seed of those expected to place. -Everyone other lower tier team had one or in most cases multiple wrestlers upsetting higher seeds, surprise entrants to NCAA's, etc. UW loses 3 of their 5 qualifiers after this season.

This are looking good for the Wisconsin program, another year or 2 and they should be a solid tier 2 program

If it were only those 4 guys I would say no, but I can't even list them all. Add PARKER KECKIESEN, Mocco, Whitting,,G. Clark, Scoles, Millard, noah mulvaney and Sinclair who just may be the best of the group, and probably 20 more

In fairness a majority of the Minnesota wrestlers 3rd period were pitiful, like i said they seemed to be content with securing a 2 or 3 point loss

I thought the Minnesota wrestlers did a great job of preserving the 2-3 point losses they had going into the final minute of the matches

I wasn’t overly impressed with either wrestling tonight, but that’s just me.
