Might not be a bad idea, but the way our gov’t thinks, they may just entitle six year olds to vote. Glenn Beck said yesterday that one aspect of the dilemma we’re in is that gov’t spending can account for 25% of GDP for federal - 45% of GDP including state and local spending. I’m not convinced that borrowing/printing money should be viewed as positive given its negative effects on the other side of the ledger. Or that the reduction in gov’t spending would be entirely lost. Some portion would still be sought, even if some had to work to obtain it, which might improve our productivity.
