  1. Nowhere near as smart as @Wrestleknownothing
  2. If all they’re going to do is hawk what the White House tells them, then they’re not journalists and we don’t need them.
  3. I don’t see it as concentrating. As it stands, the President has to veto the entire budget to address anything in the budget. That’s nonsensical and chaotic. The result of this scheme is we’re $37 trillion in debt now, projected to be $59 trillion in 10 years, and insolvent.
  4. ? Efficient Post hole Diggers?
  5. There’s one I’d like to see receive some due process.
  6. Duh? Isn’t that sort of the point of punishment - to deter crime?
  7. I agree with you on that and I believe the court got this wrong. The President should have more of a role in the budget if they’re going to make him sign it. If it’s a line item they want bad enough, they can vote to override his veto. This way it would only delay parts of the budget instead of him having to veto the entire budget or shut down the gov’t to make adjustments.
  8. Republican Presidents since at least Nixon have sought the line item veto to prevent this. They’ve tried shutting the gov’t down.
  9. They want the drugs, the sex, the labor, and the voting rolls.
  10. The message changes a bit when you attribute the majority of the Congress to the ups and downs.
  11. Some of them make some spicy sausage, but I can't find my cat.
  12. Even given the prize money involved?
  13. The red-bellied sap sucker looked to be exercising more than her Constitutionally enumerated powers.
  14. I think they should give Trump the cash and let him make his own deal.
  15. Couldn’t this also be a prototype to personal retirement accounts to replace social security?
  16. Yep, it’s called the casino for the rich. Little effect has been made by tariffs, but the market trades on emotion. If anything tanks, it’ll be the bond market if Congress doesn’t shave the 2+ trillion deficit they are devising for the next year’s budget.
  17. I don’t know about every situation, but receipts from his first term showed that he had provided U.S. personnel discount rates at his facilities.
  18. No,no,no. Not even a referee, remember, your insolence?
  19. He tells harrowing stories about how bad the court treats his clients.
  20. You’re arrogance is leading you to make transgressions that are unwise. Especially for one skilled in the law.
  21. I’m extending no grace or benefit of doubt. I’m going with reality.
