While it’s clear he lied, we must consider why he lied. He was just trying to avoid scrutiny as a ringleader in a coup attempt, spying on and providing false information to convince the American public that President Trump was a traitor, a foreign agent, who should be removed from office on threat of execution. I mean, it’s not like he’s as depraved as Martha Stewart.
