Is it ironic? Two of the subjects that Vice President Joe Biden was assigned by President Osama were:
1. Eliminate corruption in Ukraine.
2. Develop a cure for cancer.
Mullin did not speak to the backup/contingency plane per your definition. He was saying that the second airplane that does share duty as AF1 has airframe issues. That means it won’t pass inspection for flight. It started flying in 1987 and was discontinued in 1991. They don’t make replacement parts for it anymore. They have to be custom made. Chances are, the one in the shop will never be used again.
There’s a backup, alternate everywhere they go. It’s like a motorcade in the sky, actually. The vehicles, Secret Service, fighter jets, etc.
bout forgot, also a decoy.
There’s a budget bill being debated right now. How much of it is Trump writing? How closely does it adhere to his proposal? How much responsibility do you attribute to the President for its final result? Should he veto the entire bill if he disagrees with part of it?
I don’t see it as concentrating. As it stands, the President has to veto the entire budget to address anything in the budget. That’s nonsensical and chaotic. The result of this scheme is we’re $37 trillion in debt now, projected to be $59 trillion in 10 years, and insolvent.
I agree with you on that and I believe the court got this wrong. The President should have more of a role in the budget if they’re going to make him sign it. If it’s a line item they want bad enough, they can vote to override his veto. This way it would only delay parts of the budget instead of him having to veto the entire budget or shut down the gov’t to make adjustments.
