Yeah, according to @RockLobster and Jake Tapper, in order to obtain a payout of something as high as 8B, they are trying to settle a 10B suit while, Trump is trying to amend it to 20B.

The only way to make money off the data you are so convinced he is collecting (I’m not) is to sell it or use it for advertising. I don’t believe he is interested in selling it, he’s already the richest man in the world. As for advertising, as on X, he’d be better off collecting it from X, where it would more closely correlate to the people who visit the site and see the advertisements, not everybody in the country. It wouldn’t be efficient.

What you don’t seem able to differentiate is that Congress appropriates the money for USAID without direction of where to spend it.

You don’t understand that one is directed by Congress and the other is general funding for an agency? Drugs? Is that your excuse?

The information has been widely available for a long time. When they do something that sounds innocuous, like an irrigation project in Afghanistan, they pressured the Afghans to grow poppies. The way USAID does it, about 90% is, yes. That’s why Marco Rubio is going to oversee the 10% that is legitimate and end the rest. USAID has developed into mostly a CIA cutout. If you don’t know that then you don’t know.

You mean the funding that was proposed in a bill that was passed by Congress and signed by a previous president? Unlike the money the CIA cutout USAID was sending scattershot around the world for deleterious purposes.
