He also happens to be a brother of Isaiah Powe (Chattanooga) and Daishun Powe (Northern Colorado) who are both in the portal. Wonder if brothers will join him at Iowa State

Few things that make sense about Michigan: 1) Good RTC for his freestyle aspirations. He would be one of many non-US team members 2) Ann Arbor is only five hour drive from his hometown (if that matters at all to him) 3) Michigan is considered to be at a similar caliber of education compared to his current institution North Carolina 4) Michigan has demonstrated powers of persuasion in the past (deep NIL pockets?) and has utilized the portal heavily 5) With all due respect to Gilcher, McNeil can slide in as a starter at 149 without having to shift the rest of the lineup around.
