  2. Gavin Ricketts from Cleveland State to Bellarmine
  3. Douglas Terry from Cleveland State to Life University
  4. *Reverse transfer alert* Wrestlestat is reporting that Hogan Swenski is back on the Ohio State roster, and no longer transferred to Rider. We saw this last year with Sam Ewing committing to Nebraska and Max Elton committing to Lock Haven, before Donny Vinson got the Buffalo job, and both wrestlers went back to Buffalo. Blake Schaeffer was also reported to transfer from Kent State to Cleveland State, but with the latter school closing its program, he went back to Kent State.
  5. pretty good prices. if I was anywhere near Cleveland, I would be there.
  6. I wouldn't have thought so, but maybe this is a joke gone over my head
  7. That was his originally declared destination before it was announced it wasn't happening. Could they be the team reaching back out? Maybe. I have no clue.
  8. So that sort of means that the portal is a tool, but not a place - correct?
  9. To be honest with you - I don't even understand what it means in a technical sense to be in the portal. He isn't listed there on WrestleStat, but that may not be the be-all and end-all
  10. from what it sounds like he was working out there and was likely to end up there, but as of now, he is not officially enrolled
  11. I always root against the top handful of teams whoever they are. Can we get an other in the poll?
  12. Stewart is BY FAR the best wrestler left in the portal. He's the only one that is an all American. Other than Stewart, the only guy in the portal right now that has ever even qualified for nationals is the roadrunner Richard Castro-Sandoval
  13. 125: Definitely Spratley 133: Definietly Figs 141: Cael Hughes or Tagen Jamison (can either make the weight consistently?) 149: Swiderski vs Jamison vs Carter Young 157: Teague vs losers of 149 165: Definitely Lockett 174: Definitely Facundo 184: Definitely Ryder 197: Definitely Merrill 285: Definitely Doucet
  14. Updated stats as of 8/1: 309 wrestlers entered the transfer portal (which represents about 10-11% of all D1 wrestlers) this off-season. 179 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal and changed teams 68 wrestlers that had entered the transfer portal, haven't yet found a new home, and are still on their old roster 47 wrestlers that had entered the transfer portal, and are no longer on an active roster of any team. 13 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal but decided to remain with their previous team 2 wrestlers that entered the transfer portal, but decided to move on from wrestling
  15. It was impressive that he appeared to be completely miserable throughout the entire season. Grimacing and scowling through each dominating victory. Body emaciated. Great commitment to the weight cut.
  16. Not yet. There were some earlier rumors about him ending up at NC State, but so far that hasn't happened.
  17. Best of those not already mentioned: Beric Jordan Louie Gill Ezekiel Witt
  18. Swiderski at 74 - makes me think he will be challenging Teague for 157
  19. Likewise, I was surprised at the lack of promotion and discussion on this. Maybe it was something that just came together at the last minute.
  20. Looks like it isn't even being broadcast. What a missed opportunity!
  21. Anyone know how we can watch?
  22. Not at Lock Haven but at Northern Colorado Nickerson left Greeley for West Point and Ware was hired as the new HC for Northern Colorado
