  1. Schriever wrestling tough.
  2. Starting off with two techs. Would have been interesting to see McHenry vs Cruz and LL vs Ayala
  3. Kurt McHenry at 133? He's undersized at 125!
  4. Tech fall for LL Cool
  5. no Braeden Davis for Penn State... What?
  6. Joey Cruz has been on the rise, but this is a tough kid coming off his first loss. I think this is a tossup between major and decision for LL
  7. only in spirit. I'm watching Gibbons and Sparks on my screen as I finish off my last work emails for the week
  8. 16,000 on hand - place is hopping
  9. I was expecting more pushback on my prediction of Barr over Buchanan than I got on the Parco over SVN. Iowa fans - how are you feeling about 197?
  10. Expect lots of commentary in the thread, but also check your PMs
  11. I think that makes sense in some respects: his 100th win representing the Bucknell Bison
  12. I think Caliendo will get at least one takedown, perhaps a reversal, probably will score a bunch of escapes. I don't see any other 165 being as good as these two. Mesenbrink obviously with an advantage, but I think you're right that the gap isn't very wide.
  13. While my predicted outcome was 18 points difference in favor of PSU, I think that the range of probable outcomes makes the 20.5 an attractive bet to take PSU. This is based on my belief that Barr actually has the advantage over Buchanan (so far unproven) and that Kasak has the advantage over a recovering Teemer.
  14. Yesterday, Kurt Phipps and Anthony Noto faced off and going into the dual, both had 96 career victories. Phipps won in what was considered a minor upset to earn his 97th. Both wrestlers are in their last year of eligibility and on the cusp of winning 100
  15. fun set of predictions. as @Wrestleknownothingsaid, welcome to the board!
  16. Religious team: 125: Bishop Murray (Nebraska-Kearney) 133: Jesus Bracamonte (Westcliff) 141: Dylan Chappell (Bucknell) 149: Cross Wasilewski (Penn) 157: Gavin Pope (SIU Edwardsville) 165: Mac Church (Virginia Tech) 174: Max Rosario (Central Missouri) 184: Angelo Ferrari (Iowa) 197: Jarad Priest (Cal Poly) 285: Mohamed Abdelatty (Ursinus)
  17. by all means sir
  18. New feature on WrestleStat is a handy way to check what the best potential matchups are going to be for the coming week. It seems to be based around - whether both expected starter are both ranked in the top 33 (as in would be ranked to become a national qualifier)
  19. Todd Carter, Donnell Washington also on the backup squad. Carter only because I had to use that name for Starocci. Similarly Antrell Taylor in favor of Kasak at 157 to use Taylor at HWT
  20. Think about how sad Zeth Romney is that he almost had a chance to make this prestigious team
  21. haha sorry I ruined it
  22. 125: Patrick Adams, Northwestern 133: Cleveland Belton, Oregon State 141: Grant Reece, Appalachian State 149: Paniro Johnson, Iowa State 157: Tyler Kasak, Penn State 165: Bubba Wilson, Nebraska 174: Patrick Kennedy, Iowa 184: Carter Starocci, Penn State 197: Stephen Buchanan, Iowa 285: Nathan Taylor, Lehigh the challenge is to use each presidential last name only once.
  23. high praise, and while far from true, a very nice thing for you to say (before you eat my lunch in this bet lol)
  24. Thanks for battling it out in the trenches here with me brother! Sorry to drag you into this mess lol! That's what I get for picking an upset against a Penn State guy
  25. Probably not, but I was getting excited
