  1. it's not about producing an outcome. it's always about doing what's right
  2. Bricks should be unlimited and they give a point to the other wrestler if failed.
  3. I agree with the penalization of the lung brick. As a kid at a tournament somewhere, I got a t-shirt that said Wrestling - The Ultimate Gut Check No Food No Water No Timeouts No Teammates to blame No Place to Hide There is no comparison The t-shirt is not exactly true anymore. Guys drink water while hiding with their coach during the "brick" timeouts. I haven't seen much eating or blaming teammates... yet...
  4. I grew up in PA area and hated mushrooms as a kid. now I love them and feel like a fool for not taking advantage and I live far away haha
  5. they are nothing like them actually. I'm not sure how they got that name. they are like denser potatoes and are typically best roasted. just don't eat them on a first date lol
  6. I even went there last year and would have gladly bought a t-shirt had I known...
  7. I don't know. Probably to save costs.
  8. Hold on - so you thought it was your job?
  9. Let's put it this way - to think that you as a fan should be the enforcement mechanism is as pathetic and delusional as it gets.
  10. If NCAA is not testing, that means its not a rule. If people want it to be enforced, push for policy change.
  11. Not to the press - to the authorities. If the authorities don't care, then its not a rule. Rumor mills don't need to be part of it.
  12. Fans trying to make citizens arrests is quite pathetic
  13. I consider it to be a horrific take lol
  14. Leave it to the opposing teams to bring these issue to the table. There is no value in me or you speculating about who we think should be inspected based on visual evidence. And maybe if the NCAA doesn't care, then that means it isn't technically illegal. Push for reform or something. But don't throw people's names into the pile for consideration because they are successful and have bad acne. It's cruel.
  15. I always root against them because I'm an underdog guy. I would root for them if they became worse. I find a large draw for the excitement in sports in general is to see an upset. But in this case, I see no reason for someone like Kasak to be ridiculed. I have nothing to gain by defending his honor but preserving my own character
  16. I enjoy artichokes absolutely. All types. Marinated, the ones you have to bite the food off the leaf, and then wonder how to put it down in a non-disgusting way, and jerusalem artichokes which are not technically artichokes and make me somewhat gassy
  17. I count maaaaybe one PSU person defending Kasak and all the others are fans of other teams including at least two who actually hate PSU, but would not allow team-based following to determine their logic in something like this
  18. you think fans should be speculating about who is doing steroids based on acne? Leave it to the policing bodies of the NCAA and hold them accountable.
  19. oof. ever heard of a Venn diagram? start there and come back to us
  20. I think it is sh*tty when people would gossip like little b*tches about stuff like this when it can only potentially harm someone's reptuation, and the people speculating have zero clue.
  21. so I'm not a dermatologist, but I know enough to understand that there is considerable variability in timing for onset of acne. anyone trying to use physical clues like this is some sort of where's waldo, is quite frankly an idiot.
  22. If people wanted to help raise awareness of downsides of PED use or something like that (looking out for the athletes, the approach would obviously be different). The people rolling in the mud here are doing so out of malice.
  23. "when kids have peak bad skin" is decided by dermatologists.
  24. Guys jumping two weight classes is not exactly unheard of. In many cases, they were already making an incredibly hard cut down to the original weight, and have someone in the next weight up that they cannot beat. So they continue to go up. It seems reasonable someone who looks natural 165 but was wrestling 157 could appear a full sized 174 the next year.
