White Conservatives are the biggest threat
scourge165 replied to Scouts Honor's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
WTF? How are you all incapable of staying on topic? What about Che? You just said Pol Pot is still influential despite being deposed in the....mid 70s and being dead for ~30 years. Now it's Che tee-shirts? Yeah, you see them on College Campuses? What of it? Is this how ridiculous we're getting? Who do you think is more likely to commit an act of violence, a blue haired College Freshmen or a guy with a Swastika Tat? I don't even know what the point of ANY of this is. This isn't a debatable question. White Conservatives ARE behind the vast majority of terrorist attacks and fatalities. Not some first year College Student who read Engels for the first time and read about the THEORY of communism. -

Of course it did. Their currency is lies and intellectual dishonesty. And they can purchase the likes of JimmySpeaks and ScoutsHonor with said currency. -

All of this nonsense that's just...spread around Twitter and passed off as though it's true is too exhausting to deal with as they come. MAGA is more full of fecal matter than all the farm land in the United States. -The people from Helene got almost 3 billion dollars. It was a nice little talking point...only 750 dollars. That was 750 dollars without having to provide proof that your home was destroyed. To get more...so as to prevent FRAUD AND ABUSE, you obviously had to fill out some paper work. One of the more comical lies is...well, in the Bold. By October it was around 850M, ~500M directly to the survivors(the rest spent on infrastructure). By November and with more storms, it was nearly 3 BILLION dollars with nearly half of that going DIRECTLY to those who applied for aid for personal property and essentials. In playing a political game, there were MANY who believed Trump and the "they only get 750 dollars" line....which was objectively and verifiably false(as is the claim they got nothing or were treated different than any other storm). The Republican Governors in those states had to openly correct Trump. As for the "hundreds of billions," no. Just....LOL...no. No, there is no credible evidence that "hundreds of billions of dollars disappeared" during President Biden's departure from the White House, as claimed by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Independent analyses and fact-checks have found that such assertions are exaggerated and unsupported by verifiable data.HUD+3Reason.com+3The Times of India+3 DOGE's Claims vs. Verified Findings The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), established under the Trump administration and led by Elon Musk, reported identifying $105 billion in "estimated savings." These figures encompass a range of actions, including asset sales, contract cancellations, and programmatic changes. However, DOGE did not specify how much of this total was due to fraud or improper payments. Moreover, analyses have highlighted significant discrepancies in DOGE's accounting, such as counting contracts multiple times and misrepresenting potential savings based on contract limits rather than actual expenditures. The Washington Times+2Reason.com+2Newstarget.com+2Wikipedia Inspector General Findings An audit by the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Inspector General revealed that the agency underreported its award-level outlays by $5.8 billion and obligations by $1.2 billion during fiscal year 2022. While this indicates lapses in financial reporting, it does not equate to funds "disappearing" or being lost to fraud. Fox News Conclusion While there have been instances of financial mismanagement and reporting inaccuracies within federal agencies, there is no substantiated evidence supporting the claim that "hundreds of billions of dollars disappeared" during President Biden's transition out of office. Assertions to the contrary have been debunked by independent fact-checkers and lack credible supporting data. -

It's almost amusing to just deny it's happening. I mean, at least the right wing talking points are defending it. This guy has NO clue it's happening and just blindly dismisses it because it's PBS and it gets Govt funding... Who should tell him when a tornado warning in his area comes on that he should just ignore it because...that too has Govt' funding and if it has Govt' funding, it HAS to be wrong! -

Good god...you're not denying that the National Weather Service's ability to detect storms is going to be adversely impacted by the lack of funding for satellites to see and predict weather patterns because...it was from PBS? How about the SUPER liberal Wall Street Journal. Jesus Christ, even Fox has reported on this. https://www.wsj.com/us-news/climate-environment/hurricane-season-national-weather-service-cuts-75f449fd?utm_source=chatgpt.com -

Yeah, I don't actually think he does. Who the hell is following Pol Pot in 2025? I know Hitler still "motivates" a lot of "Hard Core right wingers" out there... yet NEITHER is in ANY WAY a reasonable answer to what demographic constitutes the biggest threat to domestic terrorism. If you wanted to cite Communists who were still influential, Marx or Engels would be reasonable choices...until 18 year olds take World History 110 and then they largely disappear. There are ~15,000 self described "communists," in the United States. There are more people in the Aryan Brotherhood than that. But NONE of this is the point. This is how stupid these conversations get. Biggest Domestic Terrorist Threat...and I got Pol Pot as an answer. Seriously...Pol Pot, a guy who hasn't Governed in...what, 45+ years? And then they doubled down, I cited Hitler...NEVER mentioned Trump and suddenly it's a "you compared Hitler and Trump." -

Good boy. Yes. I brought up Hitler to show the absurdity of citing Pol Pot when talking about Domestic Terrorist threats. What I DID NOT do was mention Trump... Again...you REALLY cannot follow the thread YOU started, can you? I even made the point that NEITHER represent American Politics or is pertinent to this conversation, but... you saw someone call Trump Hitler so in your feeble, ADD riddled brain, that must mean that I compared Trump to Hitler in this thread? Show me where. I'll be happy to apologize for doing so...(I suspect you're going to bring up several more strawman arguments and veer off-topic again as you're not capable of staying on point). -

While casualties ALMOST universally a colloquialism for Deaths, in reality, it simply means injured or killed(though ask the same person how many casualties there were on Jan6th and they'll say zero....well, they'll say one, the moron who got some extra ventilation trying to rush past secret service onto the floor of Congress). -

Nobody even mentioned Trump there little guy. Stop yapping. If the conversation is too hard for you to follow(despite being the one to start it) just say that. -
And...what racial or ethnic group are people suffering from an ischemic stroke?

You don't even see how you're telling on yourself here, do you? 1-Did you really just say "non-President?" 2-Threatening to imprison Journalists based on...who's perception of a lie? 3-Suing a Newspaper for running a poll he didn't like? Jesus Christ... And you keep acting him being in the Oval or NOT in the Oval at the time of these statements(some of which he was, some predate, but the lawsuit was just recently heard) is relevant. You may be illiterate, but the statement was made that LEFTIST try and censor people. Now when I give you VERY clear examples of the Current President of the United States doing it and doing it while he was the nominee, not it's ok because he's stopping lying. He's not trying to "stop lies," but lets say he was. Lets say ALL he was trying to do was stop lies. THAT'S STILL CENSORSHIP and that is NOT within his purview. And honestly, are you JimmySpeaks? You write just like him and you also lack the capacity to follow a single train of thought... and add absolutely nothing other than asking questions that only belie the fact that you don't understand the topic. There's no way you can possibly sit here and say the RIGHT hasn't tried to censor speech unless...again, you're Jimmy and just living in your own world.

You mean by pointing out one of the Penn State guys you're talking about was ONLY at Penn State because he got hurt at Kent State? LOL...dude, the jealousy of the Iowa fans is getting to be next level. No, I don't remember Taylor's injury at BTS. I remember David Taylor Wrestling 4 Times in the NCAA Finals, winning TWO Hodge Trophy awards and having one of the most impressive careers in College Wrestling History. But again, SOMEONE a couple years ago insinuated that Iowa MIGHT want to change up the training they've been doing since 1974 as their guys are going to the NCAAs beat up and if not underperforming, NOT performing to Iowa Standards and now EVERY time something is even tangentially related to Penn State we have to hear about every injury a Penn State Wrestler suffered. Nope. Nobody likes to "pretend they don't." Everyone knows injuries are part of the sport. But lets say that's true. How many times do you think you need to spam every thread with that? Is it a matter of just giving up? Like, "eh, Penn State is clearly better, we're not going to beat them, we'll just troll Penn State to death online because Cael's strategy to minimize injuries and have his guys peaking FOR THE NCAAS," isn't flawless...and while we're at it, we'll bring up a knee injury for a guy 6 years out of College or a Wrestler who got hurt at another school! Is that now Iowa pride? Man, this is just sad to see....

Good lord dude, I haven't said anything about your education, but THIS is evidence that it is SORELY lacking. Hitler literally banned the communist and socialist parties. I was...about 30% sure you'd be...ignorant enough to fall for the "National Socialist," or NAZI party which began as a pejorative toward the Party. You not only bastardized this thread about DOMESTIC TERRORISTS... brought up Pol Pot and then... have such a surface level understanding of Hitler that you think the guy who wanted to RID all of Germany of everyone who WASN'T pure German, the embodiment of a Authoritarian Nationalist...and are now trying to paint him as "left wing," is so...stupid. And I know that gets used too much, but My God...how far removed from reality can you be? They banned UNIONS, they were about as far right as you can possibly get... but because you don't understand where the term NAZI came from. -
Ahh... the old "this is the argument in my head, so this is the point I'll keep arguing!" No, the argument is NOT that Penn State Wrestlers don't get hurt, it's that Iowa Wrestlers haven't changed their approach to training and they get MORE beat up and perform worse as a result. Not that after 20 years of Wrestling(I mean...seriously, using David Taylor as an example? What, his shoulder injury?) that Penn State guys just...don't get hurt! Not to mention, your argument is even worse, your arguing about guys who were hurt BEFORE they went to Penn State! To be clear, you're not comparing a guy who spent 6 years at Iowa, with a guy who took a medical Redshirt, then coming off that MSRS went to Penn State? And his "pre-existing injury" was never an "excuse?" I thought he said "excuses are for wusses? But again, fine, we'll use "excuse." I said his loss to Ramos was the result of his knee injury not allowing him to be in good enough shape to Wrestle a strong 7 minutes. So the claim that they've "NEVER been an acceptable excuse," is therefore faulty. That's at least one example. It is kinda weird how you took two VASTLY different styles of training, completely changed the narrative and then have been just repeatedly harping on this topic every chance you get for the last two YEARS.

1-Beat Gable Stevenson and won a NC 2-Was injured before he got to PSU 3-The guy who got beat out by Davis last year? 4- 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st Only two losses aside from an injury were to IMar who he also gave one of his 3 career losses(the other two being different PSU Wrestlers). 5-The 2X Hodge Winner, 4X Finalist, Olympic and 3X World Champ(plus a Silver and a Bronze). 6-Facundo...burried on their depth chart behind the guy who came in and has lost ONE-ONE point match in his career thus far. 7-Suriano- 8-Kerkvliet The 5X AA and National Champ? 9-RBY 5X AA, 3X Finalist, 2X Champ 10-4X National Champ and Olympic Bronze Medalist I'm not sure Iowa fans do the best job of dunking on Penn State as they think they do! See, the claim was that Iowa runs their guys into the ground and THAT'S why they don't accomplish as much. You just made a list of 9 guys, one of whom took a medical RS before he even got to Penn State, but 13 total National Titles(not counting Suriano's two at two different schools)...a couple Olympic Medals and several World Medals. Yeah, no, you're right! LOL...what a knock AGAINST Penn State! They do get the "Winning National Titles," session, but sadly...miss the gambling portion. That's reserved for another program...

No, it's actually not. Follow the conversation real closely sport. It was how the RIGHT... which I'm pretty sure would include Trump(unless you'd like to argue he's a leftist) and the sitting President have tried to silence people. Suing newspapers, threatening to INPRISON Journalists, revoking credentials and the licenses of people who say things you don't like is the definition of censorship.
-
LOL... it's amazing how dumb you are. The veracity of the poll is COMPLETELY irrelevant. You understand what FREEDOM OF SPEECH is, right? It protects you against the GOVERNMENT coming after you for what you say or in this case write. It's not election fraud you clown(as the courts have found). It's amazing how your argument is just Trump's already flawed and dismissed argument. You'd also have to explain to me how a poll in Iowa saying Trump is losing a close race would be Election FRAUD? That's 10 more levels of stupid that is almost incomprehensible. If anything, it'd motivate people Trump supporters to come out and vote, but there isn't a single shred of evidence that the poll was fraudulent.

I'm honestly not even sure why people care what race the person was. I don't celebrate when I see the guy who shot a bunch of black people who offered prayer and comfort to a sick young kid were then murdered by someone with EXTREME and screwed up political principles. But the people who get defensive about it, the people who think it somehow represents them...they're kinda telling on themselves. -

I don't even know why this thread was started other than there are people sick enough to almost rejoice when someone else does something horrible. It should be noted though for the morons who are citing historical characters when talking about "Left" and "Right" in the context of domestic threats, Hamas is a "Right-Wing" organization rooted in Religious fundamentalism. Now I'd never attribute those beliefs to anyone on here, but if you're dumb enough to cite Pol Pot, I suppose you'd have to equally accept Hamas and the like as being on "the right." None of that changes this was a truly moronic thread and El Luchador took it to levels of stupidity I didn't know possible. -

...what a truly moronic game. Topic- Biggest threat of domestic terrorism Answer- The dead guy from Cambodia! This would be akin to me bringing up Hitler for the Far Right given his Ultranationalism and Ethnocentrism... which is a pretty stupid argument, but at least closer to the mark as there are more Neo-Nazi or White Supremacists than there are people who support...Pol Pot. The level of stupidity to bring up a dead Cambodian when talking about domestic terrorism is...truly Jimmy-esque. This isn't even a debatable topic. The overwhelming majority of terrorist attacks, plots and deaths are committed by white nationalists. Bringing up Pol Pot tells me you both don't understand the topic and you feel some...bizarre need to defend those people...which is odd. -

LMFAO!!! Yeah, Trump saying so doesn't make it so... and that's why his lawsuit was thrown out.

Timmothy McVeigh would like to have a word. As would these Gentlemen; Charleston Church Shooting (2015): Dylann Roof murdered nine African American worshippers at the Emanuel AME Church in South Carolina. He was motivated by white supremacist beliefs and aimed to incite a race war. Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting (2018): Robert Bowers killed 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pennsylvania, marking the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in U.S. history. He was driven by antisemitic and white nationalist ideologies. El Paso Walmart Shooting (2019): A gunman killed 23 people, targeting Hispanic individuals. He cited fears of a "Hispanic invasion" and was influenced by white nationalist rhetoric. Buffalo Supermarket Shooting (2022): An 18-year-old white supremacist killed 10 Black individuals at a supermarket. He was motivated by the "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory, which falsely claims that white populations are being replaced by minorities. The OP conflates "Biggest" with "only." -
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdjg2n3xv7zo I'll note the case was thrown out. Now would you like to go on to Trump talking about throwing Journalists in Jail, revoking credentials and or broadcast licenses?
