  1. How many points would one expect from someone who is only on the edge of qualifying? If they get a seed below 30, will they likely score much if any?
  2. Wrestled 133 his first year, 141 his second year, COVID year, then 157 third year, now 149 final year.
  3. Do you see Mendez' legs here? Pretty sure he wasn't leaping into the air on his own.
  4. I'm not predicting this outcome. Predictions are hard, especially about the future.
  5. Because Vito has beaten both RBY and Fix in the past, albeit in freestyle? And wouldn't that throw the Outstanding Wrestler award into some confusion?
  6. You have time on your (fewer fingered) hands, don't you?
  7. Wouldn't it make more sense to determine historical bonus points by wrestler for a given seed, rather than by team placement? #1 seeds historically get Z bonus points, #2 seeds get Y < Z points, etc.
  8. That's a small price to pay (like $9.99?). Those (like me) who don't have a more expensive TV subscription need to get one to get ESPN, as it doesn't "stream" like the others. I've run through my free trials for Hulu, Sling, YouTubeTV, etc...
  9. ESPN+ will be streaming every mat on every session up through the medal round. ESPN will be showing the Saturday Night Finals. https://espnpressroom.com/us/program-schedules/#tvl_resultsAnchor has a searchable schedule. Put in the date(s) of the NCAAs, pick ESPN+, and you'll see all the mats scheduled. Use their advanced search to get only the tournament schedule. (all times ET) 3/16: 12 to 3:30pm, 7pm to 10:30 3/17: 11am to 2pm, 8pm to 11 3/18: 11am to 2pm, 7pm to 10pm (ESPN)
  10. How many "casual fans" do you think ponied up the $150 for a Flo subscription that was needed to view this event? I'm guessing zero.
  11. This is a joke of a dual. I hope someone got paid for this.
  12. Apparently, his win over Michael Wilson of Rider was when the latter was a redshirt freshman. As for Monday being the favorite at EIWAs: Ramirez would like a word
  13. If we are counting D1 wins while wrestling D1, then Max Dean has only 93 (can't count when he wrestled for Spartan Combat nor against non-D1 opponents). Vito needs about 28 wins next year to reach 100.
  14. Updates: As noted, Yianni is over 100. Arujau is at 64 D1 wins; he should get four more at EIWAs and at least four more at NCAAs. That leaves him with 28 next year for 100. RBY has 91, so he won't get it unless he inexplicably loses early in the B1G or NCAA tournament. Max Dean is up to 93, so he should get it this year unless someone forfeits? Neither Glory nor Monday will get 100: Monday at 89 D1 wins, Glory at 86 D1 wins. Warner actually has only 83 D1 wins.
  15. Sorry, I should have included the link. https://www.nj.com/sports/2023/02/princeton-wrestling-national-finalist-pat-glory-leaves-match-with-apparent-injury.html
  16. Correct you are.
  17. I think it was 8-4 at the time, with RT locked up. Bailey really cranked Glory's right arm in an awkward way as part of a reversal. That allowed him to get the reversal to make it 8-6 and end Glory's (Senior) night.
  18. It was weird. Trying to figure out what actually was injured, given how he seemingly limped off. Definitely hurt his right shoulder, though. Maybe it hurt so bad it affected his gait?
  19. Late in match against Bailey (Lehigh). Really grimacing, holding his shoulder, as he limped off the mat. Won a regular decision. Three weeks to recover for the EIWA tournament.
  20. Glory gassed big time against Ryan Miller (Penn). Called three times for stalling in the third period. I think the final score was 8-6?
  21. When I worked at AT&T, we were asked to fill out an annual satisfaction survey. Part of our performance evaluation and raise calculation was how well our organization did on this survey. Yeah, right.
  22. Everywhere. https://www.ncaa.com/_flysystem/public-s3/files/D1MenRanking_020923.pdf (did they look at the resulting PDF, which has the points column on separate pages? WTAF?)
  23. 133: Fix #1, Arujau #2, RBY #3 149: Gomez #1, Sasso #2, Yianni #3 285: Parris #1, Cassioppi #2, Davison #3, Kerkvliet #4 WTF?
