  1. Wrong. As I posted earlier: He was 24-0 his sophomore year going into NCAAs. If you want to be picky, he was 22-0, as two of the victories were over non-D1 opponents. So either 29-0 or 27-0, but not 31-0. The bracket lists him at 29-0, so we'll go with that. You should be aware that the W-L record shown in the brackets reflects their records *after* the NCAA tournament, not going in. Just look at McKenna, who is listed at 24-3: his three season losses were to Nick Lee and to Yianni twice (in the dual and in the NCAA final). That's your error.
  2. 125 - Howard vs. Lajoie - Lajoie wins by Dec. 3-0 Cornell 133 - Bravo-Young vs. Arujau - B-Y wins by Dec. 3-3 tie 141 - Bartlett vs. Cornella - Cornella wins by Dec. 6-3 Cornell 149 - Van Ness vs Yianni - Yianni wins by MD. 10-3 Cornell 157 - Berraclough vs. Yapoujian - Yapoujian wins by Dec. - 13-3 Cornell 165 - Facundo vs Ramirez - Ramirez wins by Dec. - 16-3 Cornell 174 - Starocci vs. Foca - Starocci wins by Dec. - 16-6 Cornell 184 - Brooks vs. Loew - Brooks wins by MD. - 16-10 Cornell 197 - Dean vs. Cardenas - Dean wins by Dec. - 16-13 Cornell 285 - Kerkvliet vs Fernandes - Kerkvliet wins by Dec. - 16-16 tie!
  3. Dake's streak was 77. 5-0 at NCAAs his sophomore year, then 35-0 and 37-0. Yianni is sitting at 75 straight (18-0 since losing to Eierman, then 29-0 and 28-0). If he wrestles the whole Cornell schedule (he's likely to skip CKLV due to the World Cup), he'd end up with 106 straight wins (and a career of 125-1). Add in his HS streak, and he will have gone 335-1 since his last loss in HS.
