  1. We’ll find out this summer when Bassett and Jax commit.
  2. The best part of people commenting on PSU is that everybody assumes they’re going to lose every even halfway close matchup. It’s been like that since Zain was going to lose to Sorenson.
  3. That’s not what that is, maybe you ate some bad shrimp?
  4. There is a chance PSU only loses two guys going into next year and will have SVN back, I hardly think that's cause for a punt season. The way they've stacked the recruits on top of each other I'd say there isn't a chance for a punt for at least 5-6 years.
  5. I'm hoping PSU weighs in Bearclaw and Starocci at 174 and then Carter bumps up to take out Arnold.
  6. There isn't another Olympics until 2028 so there's no need to not come back because of that and a first-year MMA fighter would make less than the NIL deal he could get to stay and be the one and only 5-timer.
  7. Just for the record Kerkvleit never actually wrestled for OSU, he flipped his commitment but didn't transfer.
  8. If MM runs the table he pretty much has to be seeded #2 and if Carr knocks off KOT either time they face each other he'd have to be #1. Just look at the resume if he comes out of Big Tens he'll have bonused Olguin, Amine and Fish (so far) and have wins against Caliendo and Hamiti (likely in the finals). If KOT, Carr, Ramirez and Olejnik all have losses you can't deny him.
  9. I'm not sure Jax winning that is an upset.
  10. I feel like KOT comes out on fire here, I'm predicting 12-5, just misses the major.
  11. Kasak and Evans are both registered at the Mat Town College Open so instead of wrestling Miller they'll pad their stats against a bunch of backups because number of matches is more important than quality of matches.
  12. I get waiting to escape but it was ridiculous to let it go that far, all KOT needed was a scramble and he could put it away since he didn't have a stall warning.
  13. KOT with the lucky win
  14. But who cares? Would wrestling a bunch of unranked guys even matter when you're one of the best in the world? It's like going to a HS dual and watching Bo Bassett wrestle some kid who is 2-14 and just started wrestling four months ago.
  15. I'm not saying that somebody who thinks Cael Sanderson is lacking as a coach is stupid but...
  16. He also beat Taylor 2x who is ranked ahead of Ghadiali. Ghadiali also lost handily to the guy from American.
  17. Kerk teched Hendrickson inside of two periods at the All-Star meet. You can say it doesn't count but you'd be saying something completely different if it had gone the other way.
  18. Victor Wembanyama gets drafted by the Spurs (along with his brother). He rapes a girl in San Antonio, posts a picture of his butthole on SM, totals a car and almost kills a teammate while driving like an asshole, his brother shoots up the house and car of another teammate for dating his sister. Spurs release him. Then he gets overtures from another team (say the Lakers), he goes to LA, signs a two-day contract to play in an intrasquad game and plays poorly but scores the winning basket at which point he takes a swing at Lebron then flips him off and all of the Lakers fans in attendance. After that he gives an interview in which he says that he's a good guy and a "christian", starts selling magic rocks and SM and is now saying the NBA is for pussies and he's going to do something tough like going to play in Turkey.
  19. But it's really not, they'll send them to an open where they can rack up a bunch of easy wins. Look at what Hendrickson did at the David Lehman open at F&M, he won six matches, got five pins and the highest ranked guy he saw was Ghadiala.
  20. So the coaches rankings come out and consensus number one guys aren't even ranked because of lack of matches? Brooks, Starocci and Kerkvleit all wrestled in the All-Star (and won) classic instead of the Black Knight Invite. Because of this they're all being penalized. In what world does getting three or four wins against backups or extremely low ranked wrestlers prove more than beating guys like Sloan, Lewis and Hendrickson? You could also say the same for Haines because he was slated to wrestle in the All-Star meet but his opponent was injured. By their logic if Crookham was 7-0 and had wins against Fix, Nagao, Arujao (2x), Ragusin and Bouzakis he'd be unranked. But somebody who is 14-0 but only wrestled guys from Sacred Heart, F&M, LIU and so on would get a ranking? Unless I'm wrong the only #1 current #1 guys in Flo's rankings to beat the #2 guys are Starocci and Kerk and neither are ranked.
  21. This is a great one. It was produced by the company Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys) started.
  22. I totally agree. It's even funnier when you look at the interview Amine gave to Flo before the dual, he went on and on about how he was done being the conservative guy who always got hit for stalling. He said from now on he was going to open up his offense. Apparently his offense consists of biting people.
