    118! But they were as big as 125s. We had night before weigh ins with +3 to start the season. NCAA had one weigh in for the whole tourney! It is not even that though, really. I just don't think there's a lot of comp at the world level with guys that small. If he replicates it at 55 kg, I will be way more impressed.

    Why do you keep bringing up "father?" Who cares? It does not matter. Stalin? Father Mao? Father. Pol Pot. Father. The officer is under no obligation to let go. I don't like gunshots fired in residential or commercial areas, but he's likely justified. The horrible father chose to act erratically and disobey an officer. Very dangerous behavior. P.S. I have some knowledge of this stuff. An acquaintance of mine has four justified shoots as a statie. Now working as a fed btw.

    Like I just said, my point is probably that success below 100 lbs hasn't translated to NCAA success.

    A lot of stuff with size is impossible to say, but Bo is prob a 141. Spencer Lee was bigger than the Nolfs, Cenzos, etc. growing up in Young Guns. He isn't bigger anymore. I think the larger point of my post isn't how big he's going to be, but the lack of success cadet champs under 100 lbs have had at the next level.

    not true, and not true at the federal level. Most states (not mine) refer to what you are describing as "attempted manslaughter." It is covered by the same federal law as attempted murder.

    Pulling away while an officer is holding onto the car can be, and often is, construed as attempted murder.

    No I'm not conflating anything. Don't pull away until the officer is done with business. If the officer is holding onto something inside of the vehicle, it can be viewed as a deadly weapon. And I'd prefer people not be shot, but if the officers think there is an ongoing threat to people's life and limb, then it can be justified. I just realized it is a big day for you guys tomorrow. How are you planning to celebrate?

    Not to mention that the car has already been used as a "deadly weapon." "Just let go of the car" is likely irrelevant as soon as he started pulling the officer. The suspect has already shown the willingness and ability to injure an officer. Who knows what he might try to do next? The courts have backed officers in similar situations.

    I think the Bassett animosity is a result of his dramatic "Bo Bachelor" countdown, followed by a sudden commitment to Iowa (for a reportedly huge sum) only to have a messy semi-public breakup, followed by more recruiting. Just the way it all played out seemed to rub some people the wrong way. Other guys, have flipped, and will continue to so, but this was DIFFERENT.
