    I'm not always the kindest to PSU wrestlers and fans. I think "Coach Cal" is highly suspect. But I feel a little bad for Kasak. He is basically being targeted because he went of three weight classes and has horrible acne. Even at 149 last year, it was said that he was growing during the season and was going to have to be 157. The kid is having a really tough time with a significant dermatological issue. He probably doesn't need any additional piling on.

    Finalists are tested. You see them escorted off after interviews. I had a friend who was tested right after losing a controversial finals match.

    For a great wrestler, it seems Kerk doesn't have a lot of career wins on Day 3 of the tourney. I think 3 wins in five trips to day 3.

    Back to Trent's impartiality. If you watched the video of the NC State team celebration during the last seconds of Robinson's final, no one went crazier than Hidlay. So he must have had to work extra hard to keep that under control. Very professional. But my favorite part of that video was Trepham and his beverage.
