  1. Nebraska doesn't use transfers. Except 125.
  2. As of his interview with Mike Mal last month, this seemed to be the case. He thanked tOSU coaching staff for allowing him a ton of flexibility.
  3. NYMA didn't enter NEISWA until 1999-2000-ish.
  4. And the weird thing about wrestling is that it may be the only sport where you are almost required to be an excellent wrestler to get a start as a coach at the D1 level.
  5. He took a light knee to the grille from Jones in play-sparring. He would have been in the shadow realm for a long long time if that was for real.
  6. Nolf is a pretty funny guy. Often dry humor. I feel he must be joking here, but needs to add an emoji or something.
  7. Sorry to hurt your feelings. Thanks for your contributions to the board!
  8. 5 trips. But yes, Fix has the record with one. Thanks. Thanks for the research. Don't get so prickly, PSU just had the greatest performance in history. Enjoy it.
  9. I believe he should give his opponents more credit, but he certainly deserves some of the "blame."
  10. I feel like I covered this? Absolute crushing 5-2 and 6-3 matches!
  11. The issue is the health risks. Even 'pro-doping' influencers (Dr. Mike Israetel; "More plates more dates") talk openly about the associated risks. Asking a kid to risk his future health to win wrestling matches is not a choice we want kids to have to make.
  12. I don't remember how many times Marinelli was "thoroughly beaten." Some his freshman year? Maybe Cenzo later? But they still went back and forth and Marinelly ended up winning the last one. Always great matches between the two.
  13. He couldn't at the academy. He may be able to now? I'm pretty sure this was addressed when he was on Bader show, but I do not remember what he said. I DO remember that he was walking dogs at the animal shelter and learning guitar.
  14. You engaged me on this point, so perhaps you are confused. My OP was responding to 1032004, then you apparently were offended? Also, I mentioned that the guy was great. He just doesn't seem suited for a three day tournament. I'm not sure I get the outrage.
  15. I feel Carter may have also had nice things to say about Kem, but that was a long time ago!
  16. Kem has always seemed to be a great guy.
  17. Who am I to question his technique? But look at how Gable attempts to finish his standup with short time... and then just collapses. It seems as if he could have gotten out if he had turned the other way. Fatigue has a way of making people make bad decisions.
  18. Phantom headgear pull, singlet grab, kneepad grab, eyepoke... there is always something to challenge.
