  1. Funny. He had an injury. Iowa is accused of grinding guys into oblivion, but if they give a weekend off it is also ridiculed. Meanwhile the list of recent PSU injuries continues to grow and grown and no one seems to notice.
  2. I added to my original post, but prob 1988-1989 134. Smith to O'Day. 1999 World Champ Neal to 2000 Lesnar not nearly the dropoff of 1988-1989 134
  3. Yes, probably primarily on a certain facebook group run by a small freshwater fish and his clueless minions. There was a limited amount on here, as well.
  4. Well, this was in response to the trolls who claimed Drake was out vs Ohio State bec he was preparing to duck Davis. (and/or Davino)
  5. Oh come on. That is an Olympic medalist. Give me a break. Any weight with an Olympic medalist likely has a dropoff the next year. But the answer is Sean O'Day, Edinboro 134 in 1989. Had a loss to a high school kid around that time too.
  6. Cael was more concerned with trying to remember who PSU alum Saquon Barkley was and trying to remember what "Big Game" was being played yesterday. His brain was 100% focused on Terps.
  7. The more you know! I think you should build a statue of Bob Marley with a verse from "One Love" on it. It would be nice if that had a bearing on how we were governed!
  8. It absolutely does not and never did. It was verse from a poem. The sonnet's heart is in the right place, and I agree with much of the premise, but has nothing to do with how we are governed. It was basically a go-fund-me to build a base for Lady Liberty.
  9. LOL it is a statue, not a founding document. It has no bearing on how we are governed or our policies. Put whatever you want on a statue...
  10. 19 when he graduated. Turned in May.
  11. 1989: https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/sidearm.nextgen.sites/nusports.com/documents/2012/7/16/1989MidlandsBracket.pdf?timestamp=20150515100043 1990: https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/sidearm.nextgen.sites/nusports.com/documents/2012/7/16/1990MidlandsBracket.pdf?timestamp=20150515100043
  12. Midlands was great, but I don't remember active NCAA champs struggling to place.
  13. I think that was before his time at Iowa.
  14. PIAA states are not extremely well-attended. NCAA would be the most for Spencer, but Iowa duals do quite well.
  15. A two piece looks sharp until the shirt rides up and the heavyweights muffin-top is exposed.
  16. Schneider. Repeatedly. Even after being corrected.
  17. He's known for being extremely bad pronouncing names. Half the time, I think it is on purpose. Notable ones that he repeatedly butchers are : Kyle Snyder and Alex Pereira.
  18. This is true, but supposedly drug tests are basically IQ tests. Despite all of Coach Cals regular bloodwork etc., they didn't notice Dillahaw's EPO levels? Anyway, that who Iowa and PSU have thrown in with. Hopefully they paid for the "non-doping" membership...
  19. And despite his looks, he is only 30. Not old for a heavyweight.
  20. He did/does own a juice bar in State College, does he not? Any plans to open a franchise in Stillwater. Honestly, I'd be concerned about anyone being involved with that snake oil salesman "Coach Cal." This includes PSU as well as the Hawks (who are now a client.) Not sure if OSU has joined the Treigning Lab yet. The "Lab" part is a bit of a tell...
