  1. Answer: He's a turdbiscuit. Patients is a plural noun meaning individuals receiving medical attention. Patience is a noun meaning the ability to be patient. I could see how it could be used either way, I just don't think you intended it in the form you said it in.
  2. ! I forgot about Adams! I am not sure who between him or Gilcher could man 157, then with the other going to other route. Adams is giving 67 KG a go for Greco, which is 147.7lbs. I suppose he could do a proper redshirt, but I think between those four (little Mantanona and Mattin) they should be manning 149/157. I suppose if Adams is 'small' enough he could go 141lbs and allow Lemley to redshirt, but I don't want any redshirts unless folks are injured and need it (see Cannon). In today's transfer world you don't know if/when you'll be able to start, especially at a school like Michigan. As far as Rogers? I think it is less he couldn't establish himself and more Bullock made a huge leap this last offseason. He would have been right there as far as expected output as where Bullock was, so that is a wash for me. He doesn't have trouble with the weight... Bullock just got huge and went big-brother on him.
  3. Michigan, mind you this is without any 'new' transfers in. 125 - Cannon 133 - Ragusin 141 - Lemley 149 - Gilcher 157 - Mantanona/Mattin 165 - Mantanona 174 - Amine/Walker 184 - Bullock/Rogers 197 - Waters/Rogers 285 - Jenkins Wish list: - Gilcher (Indiana), 157 - Hamiti (Wisconsin), 165/174 - Cardenas (Cornell), 197 - Pindrickson (Air Force), 285 I think 125 ends up not being Cannon (or Ragusin) and Ragusin ends up using a redshirt or him/Cannon got 133/141 and Lemley uses a redshirt. One of them at 125lbs is wishful thinking. It'll be Horvath or Wertanen by committee.
  4. That is so pathetic. Do you feel bad for him at all?
  5. Guy is a stud using his pre-pre-pre-Covid year. Looks like he is going up ~50lbs, though. Rumor is he drinks a lot, too. Would probably Lock Haven if it weren't for Noto being there.
  6. The rules are if hr is a member of the football team and he does a sport, the only athletic scholarship he can have is from football. Rules is rules. That means he is not in scholly, is all.
  7. That isn't how it goes, is it? If he is playing football, he is on scholly for football.
  8. We'll see.
  9. I said they don't count in jest.
  10. The rumblings of him to ASU have been out there since he entered the portal earlier this year (Foca and Fernandes also did at the same time, I believe?). I think ASU is likely still the favorite, but they aren't the ones with the more lucrative options.
  11. I think VT is looking to be quite improved next year on the gridiron and Mullen is part of those plans. A big reason he was able to put time in so much in the wrestling room was because he wasn't pulling a lot of duty on the gridiron. If those plans change he will have less time to wrestle. I don't think he will regress, or anything... I just mean that the spot is likely Catka's again.
  12. There is already a thread on this, right towards the top... pretty popular...
  13. Eh, I wasn't talking 1 year rentals, despite the OP stating that. I was referring to rentals as a whole. Iowa had rentals at 133, 141, 157, and 165. OS would have had four if VV had started the postseason at 149lbs. FWIW, Cannon had two years when he came and the word is that he should be able to get a medical for this year - so he'll have two years remaining still. As far as Penn State having rentals at 133, 165, 184, and 285 - I don't actually count Kerk as he transferred without ever wearing a tOSU singlet. Also they don't count either. It just isn't fair.
  14. Kyle Snyder is still on the right side of 30. Why does he have to go coach right now?
  15. What is Iowa State up to for next year? Echemendia said he was going up and he didn't know how many weight classes. They have a serious logjam in the 149/157 area, then. 125 - Terukina 133 - Frost 141 - Frost 149 - Swiderski/Johnson/Echemendia 157 - Chittum 165 - 174 - Gaitan 184 - Broderson 197 - 285 - Bastida Does Chittum go up? Does Johnson go 165? Echemendia 157? Chittum redshirt? Swiderski redshirt? Swiderski to 165? I would have to think they are in the running for a transfer (or two) as well in the 165-197 range.
  16. Teemer deserves a medical for last year as much as anyone does. Also hoping Loew for Cornell gets one as well.
  17. In any case, you gents only had three starters by years end. I was referring to the Squawkeyes.
  18. Not sure. One team with four of them brought home (another) trophy. The other did not. I am happy if mine is the one that did and unhappy if mine is the one that didn't.
  19. A lot of those recruits are directly because of Koll (his recruits). I was pleasantly surprised when a lot of them didn't open back up after he left for UNC. I am pretty sure there was some sort of promise of 9.9 schollies to Koll and that was a reason he was staying rather than head to Oklahoma (he was their first choice). After he left they dropped it back down to whatever it was.
  20. For NC State, I am hoping Trumble goes HWT. It is clear his aptitude for Freestyle is high and his weight is 97 KG (213lbs). I don't want him emaciated for it with his 18' wingspan and 12' frame. I would rather he weight 230lbs and make the drop/cut to 213lbs when it is needed. That kind of leaves Trephan high and dry, but the end game isn't NCAA success for Trumble, and it shouldn't be.
  21. Hearing from a 3rd and 4th party that a certain school didn't not actually make a pitch to the Cornell trio. The response Fernandes made was "Nah I'm done." but the other two were pretty receptive. I.e. Cardenas to ASU might not be a done deal.
  22. No, I hope you're right. USA Wrestling is better when Penn State, Iowa, and Oklahoma State is better.
