They just passed new Grad Transfer rules that states that they are immediately eligible, too. That might make the portal that much more interesting being that they already don't have to adhere to the portal windows that non-Grad transfers do.

PJ is registered for U20s this week at 70 KG. As is Webster of Illinois, Michigan recruit Cooper Hilton, Aiden Davis (Braeden's cousin(?)), Dylan Gilcher (Michigan), and a slew of others. We'll see his mettle tested.

McEnelly is registered for U20s at 86 KG this week, FYI. So is a slew of other Redshirts, Mizzou's frosh recruit Sinclair, and a slew of other top notch gents.

I once predicted that Brooks, Beard, and Nevills would have six at Penn State. Had I just committed to the weight class of the years they were eligible I would have been correct (Dean instead of Beard one year and Kerk this year). My take was still well off, though.

PK is going 184. The question is if Starocci will go 184 or 197. He didn't even mention 184 in his Pre-OTT interview. He mentioned 197 then said "I don't know... I like ruling 174." He also said Haines doesn't like the cut to 157, so him at 174 is an option. Maybe less of an option after he just lost to Facundo at OTT, but still an option.

JB didn't weigh in today. Whoever wins the 3rd place match between Mesenbrink and Jacques will be 3rd on our ladder and win the 'True 2nd' match over JB via forfeit - which will be 3rd on our ladder at 74 KG.

Clearly biased refs were clearly biased against both Burroughs at 74 KG and Valencia at 86 KG. That was bullshit.

The criteria has been the same for eight years now. They won a medal at a weight that the IOC doesn't allow, not UWW. USAW is respecting UWW in this regard.
