You need a cookie or something. It is okay for folks to be right about something you were wrong about. I am wrong all the damn time. The ole 'broken clock, twice a day' bullshit. At the end of the day we are all fans. If you can't get over it and need some sort of moral win with a comment like this, that is a you thing. Handle it.

I think Howard defaulting out for 4th is more of a sign than Davis winning it in regards to the starting role.

Davis showed he wasn't going to back down in that match, too. Berginc shot a club that would make Hidlay happy and Davis didn't back down.

Davis is skinny. They need to utilize that right now before he grows out of it. He just won 5-1 w/ RT over Berginc, who Majored Howard (who InjDef out of his 3rd place match) 12-3 in the semi-finals.

This may be one of those scenarios where Davis gets to choose. Beating Lujan 4-2 doesn't make him a lock for points at NCAAs either. If Davis wants to go, give him the nod. He isn't head and shoulders better, though. Nothing proves that either (yet).

Nah. None of that. I think preposterous statements such as him being a lock to AA are stupid, though. I fully expect some sort of excuse from you, not him. As a fan of wrestling I believe a better Penn State is better for USA Wrestling. I see nothing from him that makes me believe Penn State is better with him and not Davis. The point may be moot. If Howard pulls of a win in the semi-finals against Berginc it may be enough to keep Davis on redshirt regardless of how Davis performs.

Nothing of what I said changes. He has clearly regressed. He didn't favor any shoulder against Steen. In fact he didn't favor anythung except doing nothing.

There are those using the same justification as you to call him a lock to AA. I don't see it. It isn't a conditioning problem. He looks to have regressed as a wrestler and he wasn't a lock three years ago.
