I actually thought I heard Byrd was going up, too. It was rather surprising because, like Cannon, I never considered him big. I even thought 125lbs might be a better move.

The good news is that he lost a bunch of weight (mass, 149?). The bad news is that one of his legs is basically useless still.

In other news, I am hoping that it is a package deal to include Amos as well. I think Amos at HWT would be a good thing. I would prefer Ghadiali, but Amos would be solid as well.

I just remember watching him against Caliendo and thinking they were at least a weight class apart. If Caliendo can go 157 I see no reason as to why he couldn't.

Saw some pretty reputable gents talk about how Amos was going to do whatever he could to get out of Wiscy for next year. -
I don't think he does either. Just throwing out ideas, really. They might not even be realistic options. Trying to get the Mizzou gents in the lineup and keep redshirts intact.

Caliendo is very lean, yet massive... similar to Deakin it seems. He was lighter than every Iowa 157lber at the beginning of the season for Alphas.

Nobody dwarfed him. The guy is massive. He might be shorter, but there wasn't a thicker 184lber on the mat with him at any point this year aside for perhaps Stewart...

Figs faced more formerly #1 ranked wrestlers at P12s than he would have at B12s. If Schultzy had faced Pindrickson in the semi-finals at B12s he could have beat him. Styles make matches and he wasn't going to do to Schultzy what he did to Elam. Teemer at B12s? Who is beating him? Parco? Prior to NCAAs nobody is picking anybody but him at B12s either.
