    The Alton boys were both lungers and each got worse the longer they wrestled, which was weird. I think both did their best their FR years, then they declined. McIntosh was a champ level guy who just happened to never win. I think he lost to J-den Cox? Those other guys were "meh".

    You have to put Kemmerer a notch above Marinelli. Marinelli only went R12 one year, and I think the rest were 6-6-6-5. I think Kemmerer placed higher than 5th every year except his last.

    Terry'd come apart like a wishbone But I'm just a little dude (235#). Also, I'd be laughing so hard I couldn't attack him! I actually enjoy the Brands' brothers antics, I'd miss them if they were gone.

    I guess the choice belongs to Tom Brands: who does he prefer to lose to McEnelly, Arnold or Ferrari? Betcha it's Ferrari. I hate stuff like that. I think holding guys out of big matches to protect their record is pathetic and cowardly, and I know many coaches do it.

    Same. The program had been declining for years, but that was a body blow. I think the final nail in the coffin was when Smith gave an interview and admitted he "had no idea why he hung around after his last team title". That interview was in 2023, and combined with years of declining results made OSU realize it was time to go coach shopping,
