  1. Plott gets his second TD late. VaTech challenges but is unsuccessful. 6-1 Plott going into the second period. Plott will look to run up the score if possible
  2. Hamiti pouring it on. Cuts his man with 20 seconds left in the second period and a 17-4 lead. Third period not needed as Hamiti gets a final TD with time expiring for the tech fall. 21-4 Hamiti to all but seal the dual. 20-9 OKST going into 184 between Plott and Fisher
  3. He has talked about changing his mindset and approach in matches and it has shown. He has 3 bonus point victories already this season, which ties his previous season high. I think people underestimate how hard it is to change your natural tendencies, but he's clearly working on it
  4. Hamiti opens up with a TD 15 seconds into the match. Then another shortly after. 6-1 Hamiti halfway through the first period
  5. RT at 1:20, Church escapes to make it 5-1. Amine stuffs a couple shots from Church late and then Church hit with another stall. 7-1 Amine final. 15-9 OKST going to the second top 5 match of the night between Hamiti and Wolak
  6. Amine gets the escape to start the second and then ankle picks his way to a TD. There's a stall warning against Church. I expect Amine to push for a major in this one, he's been working on being more aggressive. And another stall call on Chuch to make it 5-0 going into the third
  7. Fish gets two more TDs in the last 15 seconds. 20-15 Hipolito finish after a wild one. 12-9 OKST going into intermission. Amine vs Church when we return
  8. Fish got close on a few TD attempts including one that was overturned. Hipolito having his way now in the third. 18-6 Hipolito with a minute left
  9. Hipolito having his way. Two TDs and 4 near fall points to take a 10-1 lead in the first period. Reversal to make it 10-3
  10. Nope. Henson gets the fall! 12-6 OKST after four. Fish vs. Hipolito at 57 next
  11. I was kind of expecting a major from Henson going into it, but who knows maybe Young can ride the momentum and give him another tough match
  12. Jamison scrambles and comes up with another TD. Rides out the period and secures the RT point. 8-0 major for Jamison 12-0 OKST after three. VaTech should get their first points at 149 with Henson vs. Young
  13. Latona getting to Jamisons legs but unable to finish. There's a stall warning against Jamison... And now a TD for Jamison late in the 2nd. 4-0 Jamison going into the third period. Latona chooses neutral
  14. Witcraft keeps the bonus points going. After a lot of stalling from Cambell, Witcraft has his way with him with 4 TDs. 14-4 final for Witcraft 8-0 OKST after two. Big one next, Jamison vs Latona
  15. Spratley with another TD late in the 3rd to go up 7-1, then swipes before time expires. 10-1 Spratley 4-0 OKST after one. Witcraft vs Campbell next
  16. We will, that's who weighed in for them at 84 see: https://x.com/danielallen1738/status/1869893341795717313/photo/1
  17. Good point on Latona. Pyles called that one a tossup (he also thinks Hamiti is a clear favorite over Wolak).
  18. It wouldn't be a huge surprise as they have 7 locks imo. My order of most to least likely to AA: Starocci (184) Kerkvliet (285) Mesenbrink (165) Haines (174) Van Ness (149) Bartlett (141) Kasak (157) Barr (197) Lilledahl (125) Davis (133)
  19. Is anyone planning on going? Schedule | Tickets Competing Teams (rankings from Flo) #3-Bishop McCort, PA #6-Delbarton, NJ #7-Stillwater, OK #14-Edmond North, OK #19-Sunnyside, AZ #27-Green Farms Academy, CT #30-Massillon Perry, OH Joliet Catholic, IL Ponaganset, RI Arlington Martin, TX
  20. 125: Spratley DEC Ventresca (3-0 OKST) 133: Witcraft DEC McGonagle (6-0 OKST) 141: Jamison DEC Latona (9-0 OKST) 149: Henson DEC Young (9-3 OKST) 157: Hipolito DEC Fish (9-6 OKST) 165: Amine DEC Church (12-6 OKST) 174: Hamiti DEC Wolak (15-6 OKST) 184: Plott TECH Stewart (20-6 OKST) 197: Surber DEC Smith (23-6 OKST) 285: Hendrickson TECH Mullen (28-6 OKST) Several matches (bolded) could go either way and I tend to lean Ok St at home for those. Of the 5 matches that I think have a high-probability winner, 4 of those go to Ok St, so Tech has a tougher road to victory, but it's entirely possible. McGonagle has been out for a month and Wolak sat out CKLV. If they don't wrestle, it will be that much tougher.
  21. Mineo spreads rumors about this kid leaving (he isn't) and spreads rumors about Amit losing an award because of antisemitism and/or bribery (it was determined by a points system). Solid few hours of stoking bs
  22. 125: Spratley MD Petersen (4-0 OKST) 133: Ayala MD Witcraft (4-4 tie) 141: Jamison MD Block (8-4 OKST) 149: Parco MD Young (8-8 tie) 157: Teemer DEC Fish (11-8 IOWA) 165: Caliendo DEC Amine (14-8 IOWA) 174: Hamiti DEC Kennedy (14-11 IOWA) 184: Plott DEC Ferrari/Arnold (14-14 tie) 197: Buchanan DEC Surber (17-14 IOWA) 285: Hendrickson FALL Kueter (20-17 OKST) Caliendo and Amine met twice before on the same day during Big Tens and Caliendo won both in SV, so that one could flip. I also think Ferrari has a chance against Plott, but we haven't seen him wrestle enough to have a good idea.
  23. Blaze, Duke, Jax, Bo, and Ladarion will all be competitive
