  1. Lol the fact that they wrote about his biography in a writeup about him proves something? Brilliant. The article clearly shows that his single season is what won the award. Also, WIN has been very clear that there are four criteria and only four criteria.
  2. I'm not arguing, but why would it even be possible to cast a vote before the tournament has concluded?
  3. Teague may be better at 157 where he was originally
  4. Being abused and battered tends not to be good for one's mental/emotional stability.
  5. The official Iowa State position on the exodus
  6. Haha maybe. Or maybe he took too much juice lol
  7. Well I thought the implication was that people were ducking him. If anyone ducked him to go to 174, they royally screwed up
  8. lol I promise you neither O'Toole nor Hamiti left 165 because of Mesenbrink
  9. What's your lineup of the easiest-to-root-for guys? I'll go first 125: Stevo Poulin - my life be like ooo ahhh 133: Lucas Byrd - "Byrd's got a 6'3" girlfriend!" 141: Brock Hardy - bounced back from memeship 149: Ridge Lovett - hard wrestling + anime pose 157: Joey Blaze - been in little bro's shadow 165: Terrell Barraclough - patience is a virtue 174: Dean Hamiti - fourth year senior made the last one count 184: Parker Keckeisen - does it the right way 197: Mac Stout - forced to compete against his brother 285: Wyatt Hendrickson - captain america, maximum aura
  10. I agree he had Keuter pinned and the ref didn't call it, but Wyatt still got the TF5, whereas with Feldman it goes down as a INJ.
  11. Gable is a generational wrestler. No other weight class has a wrestler on his level. I disagree that techs are as dominant as pins, but if you want to equate them, then Wyatt had 21 combined pins/techs and MM had 18. And Wyatt was robbed of a pin against Feldman, he had him on his back when he called for injury time and then defaulted.
  12. Yes it was. It was in the lead-up to this year's All Star Classic. in September of this school year. He also said "I’ll go up in weight just to bend you over in front of the world."
  13. ...and shoved a kids face in the mat and lost a team point for unsportsmanlike conduct, and said he would spit on jordan burroughs, and said he would piss on his opponent's grave...
  14. Tyler Caldwell's losses at NCAAs were to Andrew Howe, Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Dake, and David Taylor
  15. Bonus points against 2025 NCAA qualifiers: Hendrickson: 7 pins, 4 tech falls, 0 majors Starocci: 0 pins, 6 tech falls, 4 majors Mesenbrink: 0 pins, 6 tech falls, 3 majors
  16. Speaking of Bo did you see his Twitter beef today?
  17. I don't follow this bit of logic. They both wrestled one season this year. The award is for what they did this season. Jokic and SGA won't be judged on prior seasons when the NBA MVP votes are cast.
  18. I wonder what weight he'll be at
  19. Chael put it this way: "those dudes were wearing pantyhose and trading fireman's carries"
  20. If we're banning things, I nominate banning all AI-generated content including images and answers/summaries
  21. Is Iowa paying Chael for exclusive promotion? Chael loves college wrestling. It's so weird that he didn't make any videos about the tournament
  22. Carter lost a team point for unsportsmanlike conduct in the Lehigh dual. That's an objective data point, but I think sportsmanship is primarily subjective.
  23. https://www.teamusa.com/HOF Vote for the wrestler!
  24. He was dominant all year. He averaged 5.15 team points. MM and Carter weren't even close. MM had zero pins. Carter was taken to overtime.
  25. Kerkvliet didn't hurt his leg until after Big 10s. He was healthy when he got dismantled
