    Just listened to Starocci on the Basch podcast... Dude is so cringe. No doubt he is an all-timer and as tough as they come, but I won't be sad when he leaves for the MMA world.

    I dont think it really matters what he was doing in that alley- accidently smashing rats, buying a small amount of drugs for personal use, or anything in between. Those like Ward who imply the narrative changes if Sasso was there making poor choices just don't get it. A young man almost died as has had his life altered forever at the hands of some even younger people who will prolly spend years in prison and come out even worse The whole thing is f-ing awful. Full stop.

    Lame. Are you are saying in some cases like this, maybe adults buying a small amount of drugs for personal use, people deserve to be shot? Awesome.

    I feel very confident posting that no matter what happened in that alley, no one deserves to get shot like that under any circumstances. The violet gun/crime culture in the US has got to end.

    I just noticed wrestlers raised in Indiana have scored more points than any other US state in this year's world championships. Clearly, this indisputable data point indicates that Indiana is the Dagestan of the United States. Sorry Pennsylvania. Too bad, Ohio. New Jersey? Meh. Hoosierland is the place to be to win matches at Worlds.

    Indiana isn't a lower-tier state. Where do you get that? Most people put it right around #10 or so.

    Here is the problem with our system. Someone like Marsteller gets a couple of years to train to only beat Burroughs. Meanwhile, Burroughs is training to beat everyone in the world, and pretty much getting it done.

    Who knows what the actual situation would be, but from an outsider's view: If I were Ramos and given the opportunity, I would be thrilled to spend a couple of years being an assistant with Koll as it would be a tremendous learning opportunity and absolutely raise my value when the time came to take over my own program.

    I dont think it is any secret that black athletes, especially those expelled from Foxcatcher, were pretty hurt/angry so many stayed on after that round of Dupont sickness. Add to that anyone who continued after Dave's murder... It is pretty hard for anyone to stomach.

    World silver in 2021 to third seed at USA Olympic Trials in 2023 is not what I expect...nor is 4th at NCAAs. It wasn't all that long ago Fix had a killer offense amplified by an insane slide by and inside trip. We also all remember his par terre trapped arm series which seemed unstoppable... And then that all kind of faded away, and it seems now he can only score with counters. Maybe Garrett was unstoppable last week, but I'm not buying it. Fix's last few matches show his defense having holes now, too.
