Are you saying you know how Steller Trained came about and it’s a good story, or just you wish he talked about it more? Not sure about Steller Trained, but IIRC, didn’t he first start coaching at his local high school while he was on house arrest or something? (I have not watched the film yet)

Blaze and Forrest already have wins over NCAA 2nd and 5th place finishers respectively in college folkstyle matches, so they will have an argument to be able to be ranked higher than Lilledahl and Barr before putting on a college singlet.

I think @Jason Bryant is suggesting Campbell may not have sent Ghadiali out, but I doubt that would have happened. But to your point, the main concern for me with wrestling heavyweight first would be fans leaving early. But sure, there are certainly more worthy things to complain about in our sport. And I guess you could argue it was more exciting to have that match happen with a tie score rather than with Minnesota up by 30+ points

I wasn’t very good, but in college I weighed about 120 wrestling 125 and tried eating a ton of calories and drinking weight gainer shakes (where basically one scoop of the stuff took up an entire drink mixer). IMO that was more difficult than cutting, although I never had a “hard” cut in HS. I also felt sluggish and ultimately stopped doing it because I felt I could wrestle better just at my natural weight.

I’m not sure why, but Sentes said he was going to do this several days ago. It was also alumni day for Minnesota, maybe he wanted to make sure people were there for whatever presentation they did beforehand? Minnesota has a sneaky good team. Didn’t realize they had all 10 guys ranked in the top 25 and 7 in the top 10 (plus Flynn #14 at 125 where anything can happen)

Well in the age of NIL and the transfer portal, that’s a bit risky if that’s the actually the case. I’m sure Cael would rather have had Kasak redshirt for example but it seems Kasak didn’t want that so Cael let his wrestler choose what he wanted to do. But I’m not sure that is the case here. I kinda think Ferrari does want to redshirt. If he wants any shot at being a 4xer he needs to.

Disagree. It’s certainly possible that both guys are stalling. Particularly in a 1-1 heavyweight match
