FWIW, this basketball player missed an entire season due to the suspension (Minnow noted he was technically only suspended for “1 semester”). Although he may have been able to use it as a redshirt.

No clue if these “reports” are true, but the difference between AJ is that any revenue he brings in would be a blip compared to a basketball player. And I’m not really a Belichick fan but I don’t think it’s fair to lump him in with sexual misconduct. If anyone is being taken advantage of in that relationship it’s him.

Depends what % of the crowd is PSU/NLWC fans. But TBH, he kinda deserves to be booed IMO. Just maybe not to the extent some NLWC fans treated Jordan Burroughs (who of course has never been arrested to my knowledge)

I think that was just Willie TBH. However, Basch acknowledged that his initial opinion was that Gilman DGAF, but backtracked off of that while claiming he had no inside knowledge. But Basch was Gilman’s first interview after he left OSU, I’d be surprised if he hadn’t heard from Gilman before he commented on this story. Kinda seems to me that Gilman really DGAF until he realized it could effect his coaching, but yes that’s just speculation. But I also would bet Gilman didn’t realize he could be suspended until after he had already left OSU.

Listening to the show now. They said because of the USADA suspension it means he is also suspended by USA Wrestling. So yeah, that likely means both he and his employers probably care.
