  1. Pretty much all athletes in the Olympics are “not normal.” Doesn’t mean they’re not actually the sex they say they are.
  2. Will be kinda funny if AJ commits to Northern Colorado and Bassett drops them in the next update
  3. Yeah and we think NCAA wrestling has it bad. There are only 12 D1 schools with men’s gymnastics
  4. Now these are some interesting spellings wife Teighlor, and their three kids, Finnley, Maylee, and Riggs
  5. Ok then so you’re not really boycotting
  6. 1) As a wrestling fan, not watching the pinnacle of the sport which only happens once every 4 years because you were offended by 30 seconds of a 4 hour opening ceremony seems like a weird hill to die on. But it’s a free country and you’re welcome to do that. 2) Speaking of free countries, France is one as well, which the creative director specifically pointed out in saying that the opening ceremony was not meant to mock anyone and wanted to show inclusion. Your comment implies you think there is “filth” associated with LGBT folks, which seems hypocritical when compared to your other comments about wanting to see less hate (which I agree with).
  7. Yeah looks to me like they were actually born women. Accusing actual women in the Olympics of being men was of course a predictable next step when we’ve got thousands of Americans that actually believe Michelle Obama is a man.
  8. So he has multiple homes in various countries? Didn’t realize leading a terrorist organization was so lucrative
  9. I’m no expert on this either but the report said he was killed at “his” residence in Iran, so wouldn’t say he was really just a “guest”
  10. Chance to win $10k for free here (verified by FRL, they had similar contest for NCAA’s) - https://www.lineuplegends.com
  11. My interpretation of that post is she was mocking the outrage over it after the fact
  12. She didn’t say anything negative about them just wanted to train with more women I believe
  13. Taking a rough stab at my order of probability, the order in the OP looks pretty close but I think I’d flip Duke and Bassett, and Mirasola and Miller.
  14. There are some cool names on that list, some of my favorites: Kodiak Stevens Cam Soda Mitchell Broskie Louden Stradling
  15. I’d definitely take the over there. We just had 2 in one year and another the year before.
  16. Rudis is definitely in on the Jesus Trained game. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8YBLY5sVdk/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  17. Did he have to improve on his time from the US trials in order to qualify? That sounds a little like the Swedish pole vaulter Duplantis (and technically I believe Micic did it pretty early as well?) chose to represent Sweden when he was pretty young
  18. Maybe I’m nitpicking but part of my point is I’m not sure why you’re saying “rather.” Foreigners (including actual foreigners) training in the US for wrestling isn’t uncommon. So it seems like the swimming model confirms that if the qualification process for wrestling allowed multiple entries from the same country we wouldn’t see nearly as many guys transferring out.
  19. Is that really the other way around from wrestling (with “foreigners” training in America and Dagestan), other than that that guy is actually from France (but we do also have guys like Bekzod and Chamizo that were actually from other countries and trained here). Are foreign swimmers transferring to the US because it’s easier to make the team? I guess that has happened with men’s soccer though right?
  20. So does Blades going there confirm that Sunkist is likely losing much of their funding with Martori gone?
  21. I’m not sure this one is a great idea. It looks like his “inner circle” is free to join but it’s basically just a link to the website for some supplement company for the shirt he was wearing. I assume anyone that signs up is going to get bombarded with emails for supplements. He “only” has 8k followers on x. I bet he could have increased that significantly if he kept his updates there. And if he was going to go this route I feel like it would’ve made more sense to do that through Rudis or something and not a random supplement company, which also seems a little weird since many of his fans are young kids.
  22. I don’t mind the different events for swimming, track, etc. I can’t tell if the OP’s suggestion is serious but that’s an incredibly dumb idea. A team medal in addition to individual would also be cool though (even if just based on points from the individual results). But it doesn’t seem fair that multiple athletes from the same country can qualify in those sports but not wrestling. I imagine there are less transfers in track and swimming? I know there is the pole vaulter dude competing for Sweden, but seems like there were multiple reasons for that, and I believe he actually trains there.
