I would think “the Baylor Fernandes stuff” should make Northern Colorado want the Focus less. From a wrestling perspective it makes sense though. If they can get one season out of AJ, him + Alirez might make them a top 10 team

Pretty much, although most would consider VT a step above Rutgers. COL most likely a factor for Tanelli as well. Depending on where he lives, Pritzlaff may not even need to move.

Considering he was trying to sell magic rocks I don’t think his services are in very high demand. I could see a school taking a chance by giving him a scholarship, I’d be surprised if he gets any real NIL though.

The private equity thing scares me. Seems like they like to simultaneously kill businesses and enrich themselves. Could certainly see them doing away with many non revenue sports.

Does anyone remember when Spencer Lee was upset with Killian Cardinale for doing the “stalling” signal when getting majored (he talked about it in an interview just didn’t name him)? I was going to list that, but I rewatched the match and I don’t think it was bad. Looks like he was just doing it towards the ref trying to get the call

Pretty much, except as mentioned earlier it could still be #1 even if he doesn’t end up in the same place as Scott or Perry.
