I’m not seeing where they would’ve had more than 2 on the same team.
Brooks graduated 2024
Zain graduated 2018
Taylor graduated 2014 (was on 1 team with Zain)
Molinaro graduated 2012 I believe (so would’ve been on a team with Taylor)
Any recent teams with 3 or more Olympians?
I’ve got 2019 and 2022 Michigan with 3 (Micic, Amine, Parris). 2019 also had Pantaleo who made a world team right? 2022 had Suriano but I guess he never made a world team?
Do we think Elor’s coach would agree with the famous quote “ When you get in trouble, when you’re in trouble is when you don’t know you’re in trouble, and so when you get in trouble and if you know you’re in trouble then you always end up on top”
Does peacock hate Greco too? No announcers for most of what I watched (although it’s always nice to hear @Jason Bryant in the background)
Whoever was announcing Elor’s match seemed confused about the slipped throw rule
I see the gold medalist in uneven bars for women’s gymnastics had transferred from France to Algeria, but it seems in part over disagreements. So I guess transfers are likely not uncommon in various other sports as well.
Seems odd that the IBA in their statement claims the DQ was a result of tests at both 2022 and 2023 worlds, but she was allowed to compete in the early rounds of the 2023 tournament and no action was taken on her silver medal in 2022.
Dang apparently USA boxing didn’t send any athletes to 2023 worlds because of the IBA? Definitely sounds like the integrity of the organization that DQ’d her is in question.

1. “The IBA” has not said what test they failed, just that it wasn’t a testosterone test. It was just one individual making the claim that they had XY chromosomes.
2. No idea. She didn’t seem particularly impacted by the punch when it happened
