  1. I mean not very confident and even if I bet at all I probably wouldn’t bet on it, but sure, I’ll say I’m predicting it. Although I’m not sure what I’d do if I was filling out a bracket as I’m not confident in predicting who beats him. I’d probably lean Hendrickson at this moment.
  2. I’m not sure if it will be Kerk or Hendrickson, but I think one of them beats him. Getting flashbacks to 2022 Spencer Lee with most people seeming to assume him winning is a foregone conclusion.
  3. I didn’t get the impression from the post below that you were only referring to his “ceiling” this year, but may have misunderstood. Although I’m not totally sure what “some some mid-to-low AA ceiling” means, that’s probably a typo my elderly mother would make, I was figuring you meant “same.”
  4. He did it several times in the McCort/Sem match, right away in the first match and then at the end of the Forrest match as a couple examples off the top of my head.
  5. Ok so you’re just talking about this year?
  6. I’m not a gambler, but I think 80% chance of Starocci winning is probably about right. But of the two I’d probably rather bet on Starocci at -125
  7. yes the K is silent - https://dxbhsrqyrr690.cloudfront.net/sidearm.nextgen.sites/ohiostatebuckeyes.com/images/2021/09/Kharchia-Carson.m4a
  8. Has Romney beaten anyone this year that went to Delbarton?
  9. I don’t mind the BTN+ kids most of the time. Gets more people exposed to the sport. Some actually might make good announcers in general someday, just don’t know anything about wrestling
  10. Feldman - it shows him as 10-1 but he has an injury default and 2 MFF’s. https://www.wrestlestat.com/wrestler/64017/feldman-nick/profile edit: oh wait, didn’t realize that was all in the same event. I think the MFF doesn’t count as a loss if you injury default first? If so then apologies as I was mistaken
  11. Looks like wrestlestat isn’t including the MFF losses even in the records up top?
  12. Why is Feldman mid to low AA ceiling? If healthy he might be the favorite next year. Lots of guys graduate.
  13. Oh lol. I think he has been posting AI images of celebrities as wrestlers though
  14. I think they win 141 and one of 125 or 133 but would be surprised if they win all 3 of those. Not much shot anywhere else.
  15. Can you share the link to the interview or post?
  16. Reminiscent of Bo Nickal helping guys up after he pins them here:
  17. So what are the chances we actually see Hamiti/O’Toole in the dual? O’Toole has already been confirmed to be out until not much before it, so wouldn’t be surprised if that gets extended. But could also see Hamiti not go either since they don’t need him to win the dual and then he’d only have to beat O’Toole once to get the 1 seed.
  18. They’ve also wrestled Lehigh and Missouri, I believe them & Little Rock are all in the top 20. I’m not sure any team will score more than 6 points on their starters.
  19. Love Sparks as an announcer. I didn’t realize he called headlocks “head throws” though… Favorite normal duo IMO is Rock Harrison and Shawn Kenney. But when I believe they put Sparks and Harrison together for NCAA’s is the All-Star duo
  20. Highly doubt that’d be the best ever, but I also doubt Davino or Bouzakis can make 125. Not too familiar with Davino but Bouzakis seems like he has a huge cut for 133 already. I’d guess one of Bouzakis or Mendez bumps to 149 next year.
  21. I see there was a thread on this on the HS forum but guessing not many people go over there. I know these guys are really from all over the country but this may have been the most high level high school dual I’ve ever seen. Probably at least 15 guys from this dual that wrestle D1 if I had to guess, maybe more. Was also cool to see Shane Sparks call a HS match
  22. Wait Titan Mercury actually has practices?
  23. In recent history, despite a not necessarily “salty” 125, PSU still got 4 titles from RBY and Nick Lee in 2021 and 2022, so I would take them over Lee-DeSanto-Woods/Eierman
  24. By my count MSU had 5 qualifiers last year. The aforementioned Lujan, Malczewski who graduated, Fish/Saldate who transferred out, and Jordan Hamdan. Hamdan had one more year of eligibility but was there for 5 years so guessing he graduated and moved on
