What's interesting is that there have been a number of Jersey people on Twitter, Facebook on the various wrestling pages that say they will welcome him and blah blah blah. That it would be good for AJ to be there.... mostly based on Bergren Cahtolic. I was thinking that if you can't get into Iowa you can't get into Rutgers....but maybe I read the levels of schools wrong.

61K+ now... great showing by the wrestling community. If you take a look at everyone who has donated you will see O'Toole, Coleman, Gable Steveson, Elam, Mehki Lewis..... what a great showing. Probably the most interesting one to me are the Staroccis... a couple days after Carter techs him they are donating. Classy.

Looking forward to 125 and 157 .... Would like to see Norman at 174 to see where he is. Should be a decent dual to watch.

Since you are not familiar with the kid in the brace or his mother, perhaps it would be good to take a look at her posts about the situation and how she has handled this, since it is the very topic of this thread. She has been very vocal about Fernandes and about the situation, even posting screenshots of the texts back and forth. Her name is Tina Martin -LIllard, mother of Tyler Lillard who was injured by Fernandes. She has been open posting this for everyone to see. Yes, soon to be 23 year old Baylor Fernandes, who has been DQ 6 times, injured Lillard whose mom says he is in full knee brace and on crutches while consulting doctors about surgery, who was also removed from the UNC wrestling team because of his actions..... who apparently is still a child. So be nice.

You were responding to a post about Desanto and Fernandes...so yeah, nothing there about future athletes....at all. Perhaps. you should be more clear in your posts about ....everything. If you think that my response was and attempted dunki on you, you probably should put some big boy pants on before continuing on this forum.

I think he is a junior, but he will probably get a year back because of the concussion issues last year. He has worked hard to get himself back to where he is now. Needs more time on the mat, but definitely a lot of good news for him moving forward.
