  1. Good for the Roadrunners. Hopefully he will find success for himself and the team.
  2. Congrats to him and to his brother who just won the Bronze.
  3. Well good luck to him, I wonder who else might be in this weight class
  4. I don’t think going below 57 kg., is a good idea.
  5. Well I wanted to see Nolf make a Senior World team one of these days, but I guess his career is going to take a different direction. Congratulations and best of luck.
  6. Zain had a great career and was a tenacious competitor. I never met him but he seemed like an outstanding person as well. Best of luck to him in all of his future endeavors.
  7. Well I don’t think anyone on our MFS was arrogant or felt entitled. I hate to even think this but it might be because some of our guys are getting up there in age. SnyderMan is only 28, but he has been rolling hard since 2013, and you have to wonder if the wear and tear of 12 years of competition is getting to him? And in Snyder’s case it could be considered double time since he hit so many tournaments over the years. Dake is 33, and also has years under his belt as well, and the weight cut might be getting to be more of a factor. Maybe David Taylor recognized this and that’s why he didn’t waste any time and jumped into the Ok St. job. Gilman seeing this opportunity, got on that bus as well. Zain is also a guy who after everything he has been through, might also be worn down to the nub. Now obviously this is all speculation on my part but I do remember Metcalf in 2015, I thought he was finally going to break through but when 2016 arrived he just wasn’t the same, and that was it for him. So unless you are Lopez of Cuba, this certainly feels like a younger man’s game nowadays.
  8. Unfortunately I saw that SnyderMan was having a tough time well before last year’s Worlds. So, I think he’s going to have to change things up if he wants to get back on the podium.
  9. I would like to see the step out rule, fleeing, and the 30 second shot clock.
  10. By 2028, I think Spencer, Zain, Dake, and SnyderMan will all have moved on. Maybe Parris, and Brooks will still be around but that four years from now so I wouldn’t be surprised if they had moved on as well. I believe that the team will consist of our young college studs or maybe some of these phenoms that are still in High School. As far as Gable, or Yianni coming back, and being the guy in 2028, I think that is a bit of a stretch.
  11. Well I know that a lot of people want to see RBY do well, but I am rooting for Spencer. Go team USA
  12. Yazdani, is a charismatic wrestler who has a huge fan base, he also has a long list of accolades. I think whether he wins or loses in Paris will change much how he is perceived. Some will still argue one way or the other.
  13. What do you mean by choice? And yes I agree that Cuba has very limited resources, but there have been other wrestlers that faced similar situations. Were they as successful as Lopez, obviously not, otherwise we would probably be discussing them now. But I would say that the Karelin Lopez debate is worthy of argument.
  14. I have a feeling that Elor is just getting started Lol.
  15. Both are super impressive Karelin had 9 World Golds and 3 Olympic Golds. While Lopez had 5 World Golds and 5 Olympic Golds. Plus 3 World Silvers while Karelin had 1 Olympic Silver.
  16. I saw that some matches have already been uploaded to YouTube
  17. Congrats to Elor. Well done.
  18. If Basset goes to Iowa, I wish him the best of luck. However I do worry that Iowa guys do seem ( to me ), that they get beat up and worn down near the end of their college career. So hopefully TNT will change their strategy and try and save their guys so they can be at their best when needed in March.
  19. Well I believe that this will be a great opportunity for J’den and for our wrestlers to learn from one of the best to have ever done it.
  20. I think the fact that PSU is dominant in wrestling has little effect on where AJ is going to end up. I think it’s all about AJ’s character and which program is willing to take a chance on him.
  21. Well hopefully Pritzlaff find success as a head coach. I know that Columbia did has some bright spots last year and hopefully Donny can build on that.
  22. For MFS, I’m hoping for 6 medals. For Women I think 3 minimum, Greco, idk, but it would be nice to see someone break through
  23. Well good for big Tony, has anyone heard anything on Coleman Scott and where he will land next?
  24. Well our U20 MFS, is loaded with talent, I hope that they go out and dominate at the Worlds
  25. Well if Spencer can get a takedown on RBY I’m pretty sure Spencer will get a turn or two, and basically put the match out of reach.
