  1. Well that’s just silly.
  2. Tread lightly…
  3. Luck ran out. He was gifted two matches (DePrez and Aiello) at NCAA’s last year.
  4. I think he’s just wrestling fat and happy right now and we see him as a 184 in college. Could be wrong though.
  5. Labriola has a great leg pass
  6. Schlatter’s duck was nasty. When you are the USA GOAT like John smith you are just going to naturally own a couple goat categories.
  7. Would probably fit more accurately in the “someone is going to their back” category. He did a lot of pinning, I don’t think he was pinned much at all if ever.
  8. Randy Lewis
  9. I would expect Garvin to win that 165 spot. He’s a hammer.
  10. Gotta be an Okie state guy for the duck under. I’d go John smith for low single and duck under
  11. You are probably correct. I just can’t see him changing weight classes after the success that he had this year at 197.
  12. I don’t think so. If he started bulking today you would only see him around 230 max by season time and that would be 30+ pounds less than guys like Kerk / Cass / Wyatt.
  13. Unfortunately John Wilkes Booth
  14. Hoping we can add a couple more Tanners before the season starts.
  15. South Dakota State Jackrabbits 125 - Tanner Jordan (2023 NCAA Qualifier) 133 - Derrick Cardinal / Gabe Tagg 141 - Clay Carlson (2023 NCAA 5th) 149 - Alek Martin 157 - Cael Swensen (2023 NCAA R12) 165 - Tanner Cook (2023 NCAA Qualifier) 174 - Cade DeVos (2023 NCAA R12) 184 - Bennet Berge / Cade King (2023 NCAA Qualifier) 197 - Tanner Sloan (2023 NCAA 2nd) HWT - Seth Nevills??? / Bowen McConville
  16. Gotta go Kolat for Arm drag blast double GOAT.
  17. Heck, maybe Levi wrestles 285? Might even have a decent pull to make it to 285 by the time he's a 7th year senior.
  18. Low Single Goat - John Smith Blast Double Goat - JB Ankle Pick Goat - Cael Escape Goat - Phil Keddy
  19. Tanner Cook deserves a mention for his Gator Bacon
  20. Below is from Yankeefan33 on the Iowa message board (GIA) "A huge disclaimer on my list- I based it off of the 2020 Olympic trials qualifications, which I have adapted for 2023. I don't believe USA Wrestling has posted official 2023-2024 Olympic redshirt qualification (if they have, someone please let me know!). Qualification methods: 1) Past National Team members (Top 3 from the World or Olympic Team Trials) 2) Top 8 at the April 2023 Senior US Open 3) Top 3 at the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championship; or NCAA Champion from a previous year AND top 2 from the 2023 U23 World Team Trials (must accomplish both) 4) Previous U17, U20, U23 World Medalist I have 53 current wrestlers with eligibility left and enrolled in a D1 school that have qualified. 21. Here is a match with Mirsola for reference. He gives up a few takedowns but hits the lat whip over to pin Mirsola. https://www.flowrestling.org/people/7009650-ryder-rogotzke/video?playing=10198083
  22. I am curious to see if Rogotzke's style translates to the next level. He pinned a ton of guys in high school with his whip overs. He is a pretty solid mat wrestler as well.
  23. In my opinion you don’t move around hammers like Teemer and Parco to get a guy like Ramos in the lineup.
  24. With the great American Hero Wyatt Hendrickson someone is getting pinned most matches, it's just not Wyatt.
