  1. Snyder was at the OTC his senior season.
  2. He had neck/back surgery last season and did not get a chance to practice much. If he recovers successfully from the surgery he will be a factor later in the season in my opinion.
  3. Maybe Mitch and Keegan don’t get along? Weird that he went to Cal Baptist to begin with.
  4. I get that you think that he should cut down and wrestle 174 but with him never cutting any weight for any international teams or anything I am pretty skeptical that he will decide to suck 20-25 pounds in college. Askren has stated that Aiden is a 197 in college.... There is not a ton of examples of shorter guys succeeding at 197 but one that comes to mind is Morgan McIntosh - and Sinclair is a similar level recruit to what Morgan was.
  5. Being on bottom sucks. No one wants to sit down there and get pounded on.
  6. Unfortunately, it is over whether or not they get either of those guys.
  7. Sinclair ain’t touching 174
  8. No rumors of Carter struggling to make 174. He plans to go 74 kg (163lbs) internationally.
  9. Everyone knows that if you want to be good at 184, you go to UNI.... Not 174 or 197, only 184.
  10. Are you just trolling me?
  11. Now you are making me come off as a big AJ (which I am not). Are we talking about the same guy? MrFastTwitch? He was a big 197 and actually has a very long wingspan...
  12. AJ Ferrari is now considered an undersized 197 pounder? In what universe?
  13. While common opponents do not paint a whole picture, they can/should be used as a metric for evaluating an athlete.
  14. Every program not named Penn State would love to have the "deficiencies" that Iowa has.
  15. We called that one a low leg
  16. I think I would take Ferrari. Myles Amine is likely the only common opponent.
  17. And we called it a Navy ride.
  18. Isn't he a grad transfer?
  19. If they institute a 3 point takedown then he doesn't have to choose bottom.
  20. You also have guys like Tanner Sloan, Max Dean, etc that use a bow and arrow and are hooking an ankle to actively pursue a turn.
  21. With the top rider having to attempt to turn the bottom wrestlers, wouldn’t it be more beneficial to just call stalling when the top wrestler isn’t actively pursuing a turn rather than have guys hook an ankle for 4 seconds, let go to avoid stall call, hook for 4 seconds, repeat…
  22. I think that you have not seen a particular instance like this because the bottom wrestler always uses the hand that is not on the elbow to brace themselves and thus stop the head from bouncing. If the bottom wrestler just protects or braces herself in any way, she will stop the head from bouncing. It is a very common wrestling technique and I have never seen this result from it either.
  23. Interesting. I would not be surprised by this. Casey looked like a big 141 and he is likely still growing.
