The top 3 should be fairly obvious. You could argue the order of 2/3 I suppose.

  3. For SDSU, Tanner Jordan (125) and Drake Rhodes (165) received at large bids.
  4. Let us know your findings... interesting stuff that's for sure.
  5. Fair enough. Nickal and Cassar are rostered athletes at NLWC that train there frequently. If you are gonna include Otoguro for HWC why would NLWC not include those guys?
  6. Zain talked about his competitive career after the Lee Ono match. He plans to pursue more world teams at 70 kg
  7. I hate that I have to defend NLWC but your take is just totally false. Nick Lee vs Eierman freestyle success is not even controversial.. Lee is just better and has clearly had more success. Of course NLWC has a much better room than HWC right now. Everyone knows that. They have one of the best rooms in the world. They also have Franklin Gomez, Bo Nickal and Cassar regularly training there. And I forgot to mention this guy named Kyle Dake originally.
  8. Zain is coaching the team currently and will be competing next year if not this year. He is still scrapping but coming back from head injury. Nick Lee literally won Pan Am's last year and has made the US world team. He is much more accomplished than Jaydin.
  9. They talked about this on FRL yesterday. How has Tyler Brennan wrestled 5 post seasons for Little Rock? Of course we have seen many wrestle 5 post seasons but that is because those athlete for the free COVID year in 2021. Brennan did NOT use the free COVID year and just wrestled in his fifth PAC-12 tournament (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025).
  10. Kyle Snyder, Zain Retherford, Nick Lee
  11. Alirez is out of eligibility after this year. Unless you are talking about competing for the HWC.
  12. Deluca is little. He is a career 125 according to himself.
  13. I agree. My point was that Hendrickson took a legit injury time and it was then CS's choice.
  14. Hamiti may be very solid but don't forget that David Carr was 1-3-2-1 at NCAA's with only 6 career losses. Carr also just soundly beat the reigning olympic silver medalist at 74kg that soundly beat Kyle Dake.
  15. I have made this point before but I will make it again. There should never be a referee initiated review. It seems like half of the reviews that occur are the referees reviewing their own calls. If it is a close call and the coach wants to challenge, throw the brick. If not, lets keep it moving. Make the call on the mat and stick with it.
  16. I am at this point with review in all sports. Get rid of it for wrestling, football, etc.
  17. Big 12 does it the way that you suggesting with a separate round for the finals.
  18. McGonagle is a one loss conference champ. He deserves a mention.
  19. If I had to guess... 149: 1- Henson 2- Lovett 3- Paniro 4- SVN
  20. Another guy that deserves mention is Tagen Jamison. I have heard multiple opponents of his mention that he is the strongest opponent that they have ever wrestled.
  21. He took injury time. Shultz could have chose bottom.
  22. 125 will likely be LL 141 - I think Bartlett probably has the best case with 2 wins over Mendez and a Hardy win. Hardy has great wins but lost to the Big 12 guys (Happel and Jamison) as well as Bartlett. Alirez just doesn't have enough quality wins this year to get himself in the #1 conversation in my opinion.
  23. MM has a much better resume than Foca. Foca (16-1 with a 55% bonus rate, 0.672 RPI) has a loss to Smith and his best win is over Fishbach. MM (20-1 with a 81% bonus rate, 0.687 RPI) has a loss to CStar and wins over Ruth, Arnold, Allred, Berge, etc.
  24. Turns out Kueter’s first win over Feldman was no fluke. He’s 2-0 against him now.
  25. Trumble will be back also.
