  1. I don’t think so. He was ranked #1 most of the year. Seemed to be a mental lapse both last year and this year.
  2. The toughest two opponents are on the other side of the bracket (LL and Figs).
  3. That's right. So Brooks ended up with 4 (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024) despite losing one (just like Marinelli).
  4. I believe that he won a Big 10 title in 2020 the year NCAA's was cancelled.
  5. Alex Marinelli is a 4x Big 10 champ
  6. Right. He was a 157 in college and it looks like he has spent plenty of time in the weight room since then. Probably weights 180+. Gonna be an uphill battle for Cruz
  7. Georgio has some slick stuff. D1 wrestlers a different breed. Weight classes exist for a reason haha.
  8. I can’t go that high I’m out.
  9. Likewise. Max is just a big dude that pretty much makes everyone look small. Gabe Arnold looked absolutely tiny when he wrestled him.
  10. Pyles threw this out there on FRL and I think I disagree with my pretty strongly. He said that Carter is outsized by most of his opponents at 184. In other words he said that Carter is a small 184. Agree or disagree? He looks like a full sized 184 to me.
  11. My primary team is SDSU. I am partial to Iowa because I went to the 12 day Iowa intensive camp back in the day and Phil Keddy was my counselor and was an awesome guy.
  12. Only positive is the certainty that one will advance.

Yep.... The Little Rock 174 would make perfect sense.

What could be the rationale for that move? Hamiti has everything over Thompson but the conference championship...

The top 3 should be fairly obvious. You could argue the order of 2/3 I suppose.

  18. For SDSU, Tanner Jordan (125) and Drake Rhodes (165) received at large bids.
  19. Let us know your findings... interesting stuff that's for sure.
  20. Fair enough. Nickal and Cassar are rostered athletes at NLWC that train there frequently. If you are gonna include Otoguro for HWC why would NLWC not include those guys?
  21. Zain talked about his competitive career after the Lee Ono match. He plans to pursue more world teams at 70 kg
  22. I hate that I have to defend NLWC but your take is just totally false. Nick Lee vs Eierman freestyle success is not even controversial.. Lee is just better and has clearly had more success. Of course NLWC has a much better room than HWC right now. Everyone knows that. They have one of the best rooms in the world. They also have Franklin Gomez, Bo Nickal and Cassar regularly training there. And I forgot to mention this guy named Kyle Dake originally.
  23. Zain is coaching the team currently and will be competing next year if not this year. He is still scrapping but coming back from head injury. Nick Lee literally won Pan Am's last year and has made the US world team. He is much more accomplished than Jaydin.
