The Bible says not to judge hypocritically (Mat 7:1) and not to judge over matters of Christian liberty of personal preference (Romans 14 talks about this). But the Bible does tell believers to let your love abound in all knowledge and judgement (Phil 1:9), he who is spiritual judgeth all things (1Co 2:15), judge not according to appearance but judge righteous judgement (John 7:24). Read 1 Corinthians 5 where the man in the assembly was living immorally and the Apostle Paul told them to kick the man out of the assembly until he repents and changes his ways. And by the way, it worked. The man repented and was restored in 2 Corinthians 2. Most evangelicals take Matt 7:1 and make it a blanket statement against any judgement regardless of what it is but that is taking the verse out of context and twisting it to fit an agenda. Christians are to judge other Christians with righteous judgement with the intent of restoration. Christians are not to judge hypocritically.
