  1. its not over til the fat lady sings with Bouzakis
  2. I think most picked LL or Ramos champion. Wow
  3. Wow, Seymour gets the win
  4. Gotta love Shane Sparks.
  5. 125- Sprately / Ramos (both guys like to scrap) 133- Ayala / Bouzakis (every Bouzakis match is wild) 141- Happel / Koderhandt (both guys have been good for a long time and winner finally AA's) 149- Henson / Williams (the returning champ vs the on fire youngster) 157- Kasak / Blaze (Kasak's insane strength vs Blaze's scrambling) 165- Hall / Garvin (Been a lot of scoring in the previous two matches between these guys with each winning one) 174- Ruiz / DeVos (Go Jacks!!!) 184- McEnally / Foca (The stingy/crafty vet vs the young bull) 197- Beard / Barr (PSU vs prior PSU) 285- Kueter / Trephan (both guys have wrestled great and should be a toss up. Other 3 matches have decisive favorites)
  6. To add to all that have been mentioned already 125- Flynn 133- Bailey 141- Vombaur 149- Henson 157- Kasak 165- Garvin and Minto 174- I know Brevin Cassella is coming up from 165 but he is 7 feet tall so he still looks big 184- 197- Buchanan 285-
  7. I did not have Paniro losing to Gioffre on my bingo card.
  8. Or he can't use one arm because his shoulder is messed up.
  9. Kueter has improved a ton this year. I hope he sticks with wrestling full Tim. He could be special.
  10. Cohlton Shultz is a hammer in top? Turns Hendrickson at B12s and now Luffman
  11. Nice win for Cade DeVos. Go Jacks!
  12. Good wrestlers find a way to win when they are not at their best
  13. The problem is that the clock and score are not working correctly on the individual mats. They work when they want to.
  14. Come on matcast!!!!
  15. #33 Teague Travis #4 Zeth Romney
  16. Arnold and SVN
  17. Fix legitimately won a senior level silver medal at worlds.
  18. Interestingly for Dake, 3 or his 4 finals opponents would go on to win titles of their own the following season. The thing that is hard to quantify with the opponents title count is that the opponents may have had to deal with the 4xer at their weight class. Hard to win a title when the guy your going against wins 4... Then the other thing that is hard to factor is did guys move up or down at get out of the 4xers weight class.
  19. I did not intend to put them in any type of order haha. My first thought was that Stieber had some hammers to deal with in Oliver and Ramos and then I got to thinking that they all probably had hammers to deal with..
  20. All these guys are clutch. That’s why they have won 4 nattys! Stieber beat Devin Carter, Tony Ramos, Jordan Oliver and Mitchell Port. Pat Smith beat Tom Ryan, Sean Bormet, Scott Schleicher, Ray Miller. Yianni beat Sammy Sasso, Risge Lovett, Joey McKenna, Bryce Meredith Brooks beat Parker Keckeisen, Trent Hidlay x2, Myles Amine Dake beat David Taylor, Frank Molinaro, Montell Marion, Derek St John Cael beat John Trenge, Daniel Cormier, Vertus Jones, Brandon Eggum
  21. Yeah, I am not in any way saying that AJF is on the level of Starocci but rather that there is a parallel in the style which they wrestle and them not being the most likable guys.
  22. Carter and Dake wrestle a similar style. People used to talk about how Dake was not the most fun to watch also. While I can see similarities between Dake and Carter - I just think Dake was better than Carter. We are talking about the best wrestlers of all time here so nits are going to be picked when discerning the differences. Carter is similar to AJF, who probably doesn't get the proper respect he deserves for his skills, as a wrestler because he is not the most exciting to watch and is also not very likable. If Carter was more likable he would probably be higher on some peoples lists. I have him behind Cael, Dake, Stieber, Brooks and Smith but ahead of Yianni.
  23. You and I both know that beating DT far outweighs beating Mekhi or Griffith.
  24. Let's go Cade!
