Umm I'm using empirical evidence. I know that can be frustrating by people who lead by keyboard emotion but if you take a really, really deep breath then you would acknowledge that Feldman is appropriately rated.
He finished sixth last year, two who finished ahead are gone, he knocked off competition last year, he will continue to do so this year. He's in the running to finish as high as fourth where the top 3 are solidly locked in which is not as crazy as it sounds since 6-2=4. That's what we in the biz call "appropriately rated"
Um what? Did you see what he did last year after taking his RSFr year off to recover from back surgery? When you say overrated do you mean he's projected to be national champ? No one thinks that. He's definitely in the 4-6 range this year behind Gable, Kerk, and Hendrickson and will be a favorite to win in 2026 and 2027.
So please define what you mean when you say "Feldman is overrated"
We already had that discussion didn't you see there is no need to close an 88 pound discrepancy that aligns with UWW weights? We NEED to stay the exact same and never embrace change.
Torn rib cartilage is miserable but he's had a while to recover. If he does lose it makes him that much easier to pick in the end of year pools for cheap points just sayin
Three offensive TDs, an escape, and a Keuter forced shot turned defensive TD against four Keuter escapes is a realistic outcome until proven otherwise.
I would never insinuate that a mature mentor of young adults would do all they can to help their mentees in any way possible, especially when said mentor's leadership has maliciously failed those young adults.
Not when he was at Illinois. Dude won nine matches in two years and half of those were against NAIA/D3/Juco competition. He should relax and appreciate the second chance Pendleton gave him.
The fact that Masoumi, who is a legitimate top 5-10 in the world, didn't stick him speaks volumes much less a close match where Keuter got a takedown of his own. Iowa fans and Iowa haters need to chill. He will be R12 or better this year and will graduate with at least one title if he continues wrestling.
hmmm i wonder what happened that made everyone dislike Desanto so much in the blink of an eye. RBY breaking him and making him quit-cry a few years later was just *delicious* comeuppance. I think even Micic was a Nittany Lion on that day.
Well Imar received some really bad rehab advice. When he tore his shoulder the PT told him to strengthen it by lifting those heavy slices of Papa Del's deep dish. And if you know Imar then you know he attacks everything at maximum velocity...
The problem is his PT was Hef in disguise
Landing Byrd, Webster, and now Aaron Stewart is a huge step. Bringing back Imar and bringing in AOC helps the recruiting trail. The new wrestling facility is already reaping dividends.
The IRTC had two 2023 world team members, one lightweight and one upper weight. The culture has shifted for the better as a result. Resident and guest athletes have improved as a result.
Folks forget that Poeta walked into a completely barren cupboard because Hef ate everything in it.
It's really simple if you use even the most basic critical thinking. You need only take two of Bo's loves into account: Guns and god. So who can we remove based on those teachings?
tOSU: false prophets
Michigan: godless heathens that place false idols (team trophies) above all else
OkSt: god hates fracks and the earthquakes are His way of telling Oklahoma to stop or else
Rutgers: the jersey shore is a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah
VaTech: Guns? VaTech has a culture of not shooting no matter what the scoreboard says
So that leaves PSU and Iowa. Let's dive in...
We all know Jesus was a carpenter. What tool do carpenters use the most? A hammer. That's why Carl famously loves hammers on top so much. But remember, Bo has that Machine Gun Mindset so Bo knows he needs to go somewhere 2A friendly that also supports biblical teachings such as turning the other cheek.
What does Iowa have? It has Marinara who is Jesus Trained. It has Sam Stoll who loves his guns. And it has Vinny Turk who forgave a teammate for shooting him in the dark of night. So lap it up hawkeye fans i can't think of anything more american than a biblical scholar toting his machine gun into Carver-Hawkeye Arena
Lam was good until he wasn't the last decade of his career. Then UNC went downhill hard and fast. Scott executed a hard and fast overall turnaround. Culture, wrestler development, coaching staff, family engagement, fundraising. It was a wilting program that he revived and is thriving after departing, the fact that Koll returned home after growing Cornell and steadying the Stanford ship makes it all the better for the UNC program.
