  2. But what if it is done perfectly quickly?
  3. Well bunch of people think Indiana and Ohio are in the "Midwest even though the west part of the country doesnt even start till Colorado so ...
  4. My middle child went to a public HS where ~1/4 to 1/3 were "skippies." The high school started with a pre-HS grade (normally like 8th) then 4yr 9-12. Those who skipped a year had skipped 7th grade at their JrH and went straight from completing 6th grade into the pre-HS year. Sports wise they placed 2nd in state soccer son's Jr year, it was obviously a young team. Also about 25% of kids made National Merit each year. Different issue but research has shown kids do better when start learning early (doesnt have anything to do with skip year) so I don't understand the hold back for kindergarten.
  5. I only opened this thread cause thought it an announcement about Jimmy C moving on to bigger and better forums ... carry on.
  6. Then pick another say offensive and defensive linemen in football.
  7. How many MOPs do we have? How many B-2s do we have? How long does it take to fly non stop halfway around the world in a sub sonic aircraft? Our good buddy rv wants us to decimate the defense department budget.
  8. Please show us, for example, how white male basketball players are getting more NIL than black.
  9. ... can't change genetics.
  10. First I don't have HBO Max and second am away from TV for a couple weeks. I've seen others documentaries and was simply asking questions not defending anyone. Anytime I watch a documentary I ask why didn't they cover this aspect? There's only so much they can do in the time frame. And maybe it is a Big 10 issue cause I could tell stories about a 5th.
  11. I haven't watched it nor do I care to. But does it tell Jordan's side of the story. Does it delve into how he had no authority in the issue or said parameters. Does it delve into the culture of universities in general and their shoot the messenger mentality related to academic fraud or other as reported up to higher admin. Did it address where Ohio St fit in that regard versus other peer universities. Clearly it wasn't right but why didn't grown men rise up and stop it? That aspect of PSU and MSU is perhaps more understandable. Did it lay out the theory that this is a Big 10 problem given 3 major universities. Again idk.
  12. Idk but I invite @VakAttack into the discussion to explain about straw men and expound on why we don't use documentaries instead of jury trials if they are absolute truth.
  13. Just because it's a "documentary" doesnt mean it is completely factual/true.
  14. ... but maybe X?
  15. ^^^ this ^^^
  16. Also most at the top level are engaged in research not simply "teachers." How do you think your "smart phone" is even possible?
