    Why do they use the example of donating to wrestling scholarships if those receiving the scholarships are not allowed to compete?

    Someone explain this to me like I am 5 years old please. Campbell will fund 3 scholarships, but if you receive a scholarship, you will not be allowed to compete. Who are getting the scholarships? Only redshirts?

    By my math, Ruth does not have a COVID year left after this season. RS in 2020. COVID in 2021. And this is his 4th season at Illinois. Barring any MEDREDs we don't know about (2022 he wrestled unattached, so who knows), I believe he will be done in March.

    PSU is working their way down the Title IX violation priority list, they will get to participation discrepancies sometime next decade.

    Kerk was actually enrolled at Ohio State, then hit the portal.

    This was sarcastic. Bull was the #1 seed at NCAAs three times (one was the cancelled 2020 tournament), and never made the Finals. Iowa fans said he got screwed by the seeding (facing tough opponents in quarters, etc). For example, he faced Mekhi Lewis in the quarters in 2019. Lewis was the 2018 Junior World Champ and #8 seed at NCAAs.

    Marinelli turned the Hawks around just as much as Lee. He had more wins in fewer seasons than Lee. And if not for injuries and receiving the worst ever #1 seeds in the history of the NCAA tournament, he would have been a multi-X National Champ.
