    The Brands coach their wrestlers the way Gable coached them. However, Gable didn't coach every wrestler the way he coached the Brands. Gable was able to figure out how each individual needed to be coached.

    Couldn't the wrestler on two legs also drop to a knee? And if the first wrestler doesn't hop up and attempt a FHL, he is stalling? It could go on and on like that.

    Anthony Robles wrestled from all fours in neutral. He was not called for stalling because he stayed centered on the mat and engaged with the opponent. Dropping to a knee needs context before we decide if it is stalling.

    Metcalf won the Hodge in the same season he was pinned. Nick Ackerman won the Hodge in the same season he had four losses.

    Lewboo had some great cutting stories on the old board. There was the time he was cutting in the summer for a freestyle tournament and he broke when he ran past a swimming pool on a golf course. He jumped in clothes and all and gulped the pool water. He also wrote an article where he proclaimed Bruce Kinseth the "King of all Cutters."

    Baseball and most of the other sports besides football are joining the Horizon league. I'm not aware of any sports that are joining the Summit.

    I have a cervical spinal fusion. I can't imagine he is getting a fusion if he plans on returning to competition. I assume he is getting a disc replacement. Once you fuse the spine, you obviously lose mobility in that joint, but that has an impact on the other joints, especially immediately above and below the fusion site. Those joints take on extra stress that the fused joint cannot. Therefore those adjacent joints become more susceptible to injury.

    He took losses in matches when he didn't need to win them in order to win the Gold. The bad mark/good mark era was like that.

    I'm not quite sure what he meant either. I don't see too much of a difference between Oly weight and non-Oly weight World Titles, except in the Olympic years when only non-Olympians can enter.
