  1. I didn't say you said that. I am offering another example to show how absurd the result can be if you always require reaction time. In my hypo, according to you, you would say no TD because he didn't get time to react?
  2. Ok, so let's say with 3 seconds left Robb shoots and has both of Haines' knees or ankles. Haines fall backward and at 0:01 left his butt hits the mat. Robb is hugging both legs and Haines is sitting up. Are you claiming this is no TD because you have to give Haines time to react?
  3. Not better than Woods...who's gonna win a 'ship
  4. Even noted PSU homer Willie thinks this was a clear TD
  5. See Nagao vs RBY. He was down 5 and threw double boots for the remainder of the third period. I guess he did manage to get a riding time point...
  6. what about defensive chest wraps? The move is done solely to force a stalemate.
  7. I previously proposed that touching the ankles should not be allowed period when on top (including when you are on top from neutral defending a shot) and people thought the idea absurd.
  8. That is a bit of an overstatement. It will be a close battle and Penn State very well could end up in 2nd.
  9. They both got As. That’s just a dash. Steen was a 2x PIAA champ. I’d expect him to beat Lujan at least since he beat him early this season. 0-3 BBQ was not his reasonable expectation.
  10. Video / slow motion >>> screenshots Your screenshot is like posting a screenshot of a NFL receiver out of bounds after he dragged his toes in bounds. It doesn't disprove it was a catch because it shows what happens after the crucial point in the play.
  11. Did you watch the match again including the 2 slow motion replays at different angles? I am a Penn State fan but even I can admit that was a clear 2 for Robb.
  12. Yes that clip happens a second after the screenshots I posted. Robb already had control and in bounds.
  13. Watch the clip. That does not happen. Robb's feet literally are dragging on the mat the entire time from the beginning.
  14. You are claiming Robb's body went totally out of bounds and then he stuck his feet back in after?
  15. Yes, but he's still a transfer. I didn't intend for this to only count wrestlers who transferred this season.
  16. Who is the Most Valuable Transfer this year? I think Real Woods has to be #1. He's a bonus point machine, almost as dominant as Spencer, and has 50/50 shot at winning a title this year at 141. Iowa has been on fire with the transfers as of late. Second best is probably Michael Beard, who I see making the finals at 197 for Lehigh. Third best is Greg Kerkvliet who I see taking 2nd or 3rd at HWT for Penn State.
  17. I'll bet that Lee wins his 4th easily
  18. He is quite good as a true freshman, but even as a Penn State fan, I can admit Robb got absolutely jobbed in the Big 10 finals. He clearly had a takedown and was not given it after review, somehow. Granted, maybe Haines still ties up the match and wins in regulation, or it goes to OT and the same thing happens. But Robb, AOC, Franek, Humphries, Andonian and more could take him out. I think he will place high (top 4) but not sure if he's actually got a real shot to beat someone as good as AOC.
