  1. Spencer looks like the bigger guy here.
  2. Is that true? I imagine Ohio State and Michigan have some deep deep NIL pockets.
  3. 141 Don't see Bartlett beating Mendez at B10s and then Mendez/Alirez at NCAAs. 149 has a lot of parity. SVN has to get through Henson, Parco and Lovett. 157 Kasak I would favor if not for the concussion/injury issues. 174 Haines isn't beating KOT.
  4. 125 I think LL gets 5-8th 133 Davis goes 2-2 BBQ again
  5. Despite your data, I think Penn State only has 2 champs this year. 165 Mesenbrink 184 Starocci Penn State will have 4 runners up though: 149 SVN 157 Kasak 174 Haines HWT Kerk 3rd place: 141 Bartlett 197 Barr
  6. I don't. Does Spencer regularly get outmuscled in freestyle?
  7. Nolf said Spencer felt as strong as someone his size (and Nolf wrestled 157 pounds and is probably closer to 180 pounds now). Is Ono the first guy Spencer wrestled to really overpower him? It was shocking to see.
  8. Ayala has developed well and he is homegrown.
  9. It seems like currently he is the best at maximizing his teams' talent without overreliance on NIL and the transfer portal to buy AAs.
  10. He's gonna win again this year.
  11. He always appears that way. It's his style and has worked for him his whole career. I expect him in the 157 pound finals at NCAAs.
  12. Future 4 timer Angelo Ferrari has shown he is the brightest star on the Hawkeyes, even overshadowing Bo "The Lee" Bassett. Aside from hitting up Bob for more NIL $$$ could he issue an ultimatum that the Hawkeyes need to take on his brothers AJ and Anthony too, or else he will walk? Obviously the Hawks were/are already interested in AJ at 197, and such interest will only rise if AJ wins a NCAA title this year for CSUB. Anthony probably isn't a starter, but he could be a good room guy. The Ferraris are a tight knit clan and I'm sure Papa Ferrari would love to cheer on all of his son at Iowa. Could Angelo make this happen?
  13. Wouldn't you expect the GOAT not to get pinned in the semifinals by a guy who never even won a NCAA title?
  14. Iowa Penn State Ok State Ohio State Nebraska
  15. Dake looks a good 30 pounds heavier than Molinaro who was a hulked up 149 pounder. I never understood how he always looked so much bigger than his opponents. Must have bird bones.
  16. Arnold could be a 4 timer too
  17. Surprised to see Stallroci so high up. I thought he just stalled to win?
  18. They didn’t pick a great match to showcase Keuter’s wrestling prowess…
  19. Yes, I've said multiple times if he has a half decent shot at being drafted (like even a 25% chance) he absolutely should give up wrestling and focus on football. An average NFL LB makes more in a 2-5 year career than Spencer Lee (the GOAT) will over the course of his entire wrestling career. It's not even close how much more $$$ there is in football over wrestling.
  20. Interesting but I don't see Arnold being able to beat Brands. Arnold is basically the same wrestlers as Brands, just 8 years younger.
  21. A Ferrari vs Ferrari comparison...who was better at this point in time (true freshman season)? I'm thinking it's Angelo? Actually Angelo is probably better than A.J., straight up right now.
  22. No wrestler ever, actually shoots from his knees. All shots are initiated with the knees off the ground. Low, maybe. On the ground, no.
  23. Watching Keuter get absolutely ragdolled by Pindrickson last night made me question if Keuter will ever develop into a top tier heavyweight. Currently at 220 pounds he's just too small for the top heavies who are just as athletic. I think he needs to gain 20-30 pounds of muscle this offseason, but I couldn't help but think of Jan Johnson watching when watching Pindrickson use Keuter as a human mat mop last night.
