    I think it is very difficult to quantify Woods' improvement. While his placement improved his relative placement did not. He was the second highest finishing returner and finished second, after surpassing Matthews and being surpassed by Alirez.

    I don't know what the reason is, but I would have that one pretty far down my list. In no particular order my list would include injury, his boss changed his mind, he is juicing for pretend wrestling, and he changed his mind.

    Hiking the headwaters of the Mississippi for a few days. Left the laptop behind so just a guess. But if you add Gomez as first at 149 that gets them something like 16.8 extra for a total of 66. I don't remember what Cornell had at 149, but they probably edge down a bit. So a solid second.

    Since you have this in multiple threads I will add my comment about that here too. If the Republicans choose Trump as Speaker of the House it will show they are well and truly broken. The inability to find a Speaker among their 221 members would be the ultimate statement that they are unable to rule.

    Not at all. She wasn't wheeled out by the Democrats, she was elected to her position by her constituents, as ridiculous as that was. She was a poster child for term limits and should have resigned long ago.
