  1. He lost his grip while he was bringing Teske over and then went out of bounds. The Army kid is lucky he didn't get called for stalling several times.
  2. I haven't been following the thread but we in the stands also have no idea what Lewis' strategy was in that match, lol. Starocci is a warrior!
  3. Not discussed, but Teemer's counter on Franek was very cool (and emotionally hurtful for me).
  4. ...how so? He was in multiple times. It was great effort, but poor execution.
  5. Beau Bartlett's campaign of false dominance continues.
  6. They didn't amputate Davis' hands overnight. He just slapped a pretty sturdy high 5 with his right hand. #HandWatch
  7. Small correction for my team, Tom Crook is definitively in the consolations, I watched my own two eyes the ass whooping Ryan Jack put on him.
  8. Much like my beloved Hawkeyes, I have risen like a phoenix to finish second after round 2.
  9. There's a lot of Biggie playing.
  10. Lewan looks at the scoreboard and turns back to his coaches and says "hey, why does his score have two numbers? Is that legal?" ~fin~
  11. Robb builds on his already insurmountable 3-1 lead.
  12. Whoa! The stalling call on Woods on top......they never call it that way. If they're going to call it that way going forward, I'm a fan, but that was unusual.
  13. NC State fans next to me were more pissed about Crookham's lack of action than I was, lol.
  14. You guys may not be able to see from the ESPN camera, but Davis' hand is still attached.
  15. I just saw a clip on one of the PSU boards, and he does kind of shake it while favoring the thumb, but it didn't look like it was some dramatic injury. Did this start with Cinnabon? It feels like a classic CinnaBon mot.
  16. Lots of talk about Braeden Davis' hand. I wasn't watching it, and there wasn't anything super evident in the clips I've seen. Why are people freaking out about it?
  17. Most surprising result is either the ass whooping Yarborough put on Nagao or the ass whooping Askey put on Chittum.
  18. As an Iowa fan, I can tell you I'm very aware of the upset possibility for Drake Ayala against Nico Provo.
  19. It was a bananas first session. Move of the session is either Jordan Williams sit thru defensive cradle or Thomas Stewart's lat drop. The lat drop was SO clean, but given the uniqueness of it and the fact he was the wrestler in danger of giving up the TD, I think you have to give it to Williams. So nasty (and a bummer personally for me).
  20. Hill wrestled a really nice match. Hutmacher makes Schultz look small!
  21. That's not true. He took a bunch of bad shots with no set up.
  22. Speaking of first NCAA jitters, Glazier looked petrified.
