  1. Interesting NCAA ratification of sports betting rules today. It will be interesting if the Iowa and Iowa State guys are on this punishment plan or the previous one.
  2. I absolutely hate what has become of Jordan. I went to an Ohio State camp back in the day with him as a clinician. He was great at relating to the kids and seemed like a really good guy. Jim has been eaten alive by the Washington reptiles and become a shell of his former self.
  3. There is no easy road to the Olympics. He will need to qualify the weight class which will take a top 5(gold, silver, both bronze, and winner of the 5th placers) performance at Worlds, make the finals at the Pan Ams, or top 3 at the last chance. With possibly the USA, Puerto Rico(Sebatian Rivera), and a Cuban the Pan Ams will not be as easy as it usually is. Gomez's high flying style will make for fun freestyle matches.
  4. We have seen this in the past where stars collide at one weight and we might have had a better team if the runner-up bumped up. Some have proposed we decide Olympic weights at one trials and non-Olympic ones at another to get the best possible team. Without prolonging and over complicating the process this is really a far fetched idea. Some could say the same thing about Gillman and Yianni who would be in the mix to win at 61kg and 70kg.

  6. It's a distraction from Hunter's laptop that has pictures of drag queens on it.
  7. You are obsessed with this aren't you? You should attend a drag show if you like trans people so much.
  8. You only care about your whataboutisms. You don't actually care about the issue at hand. You only care about the extremes and offer no solutions or real dialogue other than what the other guy is doing. The retoric you spew adds nothing to the conversation, such as how you want to somehow make this a trans issue.
  9. And there are others who want no regulations. There are people who believe the earth is flat. There are people who hate others for their skin color. I can go on for days of what people think or believe. What is your point?
  10. No it was a weird way to make this a trans issue. Trans people are the flavor of the week for you and your cronies so you have to find a way to pull them into any subject possible. Once you mentioned trans I stopped reading.
  11. What does this have to do with a trans kid? Are there laws against trans kids owning guns or something?
  12. All laws infringe on the rights the law abiding citizens don't they?
  13. Technically we are not following the constitution because gun ownership has been infringed with background checks, some weapon bans etc. If we want to stick to the constitution then we need to hand out guns and candy at Halloween. The NRA constantly lobbies against almost any regulation or control of guns. Since the 1970's they have morphed from hunting, education, and marksmanship to a very strong lobbyist group that wants little to no control on gun ownership. Unfortunately like the other side they are mostly extremists in that they don't see any middle ground as they feel anything that infringes is bad. Both are bad and if we had sensible politicians that weren't bought by either side we would have sensible regulations on ownership of guns much like we do cars that for some odd reason weren't in our beloved constitution.
  14. I'm trying to understand what he meant by his statement. I said that the NRA wants to have "less strict" gun laws and he stated that gun ownership shall not be infringed. Does that mean no regulation, some regulation, or lots of regulation? There is quite a bit to unpack from the statement saying "shall not be infringed."
  15. By your statement am I correct in assuming you would like no regulation at all? Just want to be clear on this.
  16. Marksmanship and gun safety courses are good, in all honesty those should be required before you purchase a gun. Gun owners don't have to be members of the NRA to benefit from their intense lobbying for less strict gun laws.
  17. Parenting- I think one of the biggest things that isn't discussed much is the fact that many families have both parents working to make a living. Kids are at aftercare and such until 5pm and have 3-4 hours a day with their parents. If their parents aren't still together then it is likely even worse. Religion in schools- No Video games- Some make a bigger deal about it than it really is. It's a small affect, but not much. Social media/Internet- Definitely a heavy influence, many on here have said people can find their groups online easier than in the past. Think about this, 20 years ago if I felt the earth was flat it was difficult to easily find others that felt this way without feeling ostracized. Now I can find thousands on Reddit or anywhere else. Mental illness and substance abuse- This could likely be caused by things such as the internet and parenting deficiencies. Many mental illness programs have been cut drastically over the past couple decades. Guns and gun culture- Yes
  18. Need to rank them as far as contributing factors. I'd say almost all are in some fashion contributors.
  19. Kind of a soft market to be honest
  20. Do I approve this post?
  21. You forgot to mention something about Hunter's laptop too. Come on your are losing your mojo.
  22. No matter the time or day @LJB would be upset, let's just accept that. Not only were the new people in a period of transition and huge event madness, but would there have been complaints if the post was shoved in between Final X match promotion or results? I could only imagine the uproar of USAW posting that Kyle Dake won Final X then the Pride month tweet, then something about David Taylor.
  23. Keep bringing up my one mistake of the year and.....
  24. Wow a public apology!
