How is Levi Haines shove not a DQ

I felt like is should have been a DQ simply because it was a higher risk of injury to minto. If you rewatch it, you can see Levi looks down to see where the edge of the platform is, and makes a decision to push minto off that platform. He is putting the other wrestler in serious risk of injury, well after the whistle, and well out of bounds.

I'm a big Levi fan. This was not right and should have been punished. If minto falls the wrong way his season could have been over. And nothing was done, That's BS right there.

He should be suspended for a few matches. Dirty move no doubt.

Definately a bad reflection on Haines and the coaching staff.   It was definitely conscious and on purpose.  
 

Don’t they condone excessive oil checking from some of the larger wrestlers on smaller wrestlers in the practice room?    Seems pretty toxic tbh

Oh I posted it about it in another forum immediately last night, and it never gained any traction, until now. Idk why  more people aren't upset about. I'm not trying to come after PSU or anything like that. I'm just saying it's wrong. And if it happened to a team I follow I would have been vocal aswell.

For sure this disqualifies Haines from the Hodge just based on sportsmanship.

I just watched it for the first time. I've never had anything negative to say about Levi, but that was pretty bad. I don't know that you DQ him (I'm not necessarily opposed. The situation could have ended up much, much worse as a result of an in intentional and dangerous shove by Levi), but you'd think that would at minimum be a point for Minto for violating some sort of unnecessary force kind of rule. He 100% knew where they were. He gave him a shove as they went OB and then followed, you see him note the edge of the platform, and then he clearly gives him a second shove to send him off of the platform. 

Tempers must have been high because that looked 100% like an action of someone whose wires got crossed in anger.

Minto was given a point.

Surprisingly punk move by Haines, but I don't think he lost his temper as much as he got frustrated by Minto wrestling so defensively.

A distinction without a difference. He intentionally shoved him off of the platform. It was very disappointing that Spark and the other announcer barely acknowledged PSUs awful sportsmanship. If Minto pulled this type of thing it would be a harsh response all the way around. This is so disheartening.

It's the first time I have seen anyone intentionally shove their opponent off of a raise stage. I guess now we need to make a rule about what should be common sense. 

I'm not beating the DQ drum, but in the future if they choose to make that the punishment for what appears to be intentional disregard for the safety of your opponent, I'm all for it.

But let’s also call a spade a spade: plenty of worse stuff happens all the time and no one bats an eye. Levi Haines/PSU? Witch! Burn him!

I think it goes like Hardy in a way.  

If it was anyone but Hardy tapping the tummy after a pin, it could seem as condescending/trolling.  Haines here went over the line but has a good history of behavior so he got benefit of the doubt here as well 

 

Having said that it could have been a bad injury.  Thankfully it wasn't

Sparks is a B1G marketer. Recently a journalist said something along the lines of "you can be a reporter or a fan, not both" and Shane replied back "you can actually be both." 

No, Shane, ya can't. And this is why. An actual reporter must strive to be objective.

Yes. At a minimum a reporter should check their admiration at the gate. In entertainment, it's fine to express why there's admiration, but once it hampers calling out even what's obvious to the majority neutral fan, the job is not being done.
