You don't get the benefit of the doubt in that scenario.

It's a split second decision in a situation that this man put himself in. You don't get to try to antagonize, threaten and resist without risk. This man was armed most likely for the purpose for which he was engaged in. He was stupid and therefore got a Darwin award.

I think we should just forgo investigations and the legal system and just post grainy/chaotic/not all-encompassing video and let random people online determine guilt. I personally am going to wait for the investigation to happen...and I'll also continue to NOT confront, yell, scream, impeded, obstruct, etc. LEO's doing their job...thus, I am 110% sure I am not going to get arrested, detained, nor shot by said LEO's...but hey, that's just me.

Don't engage in criminal activity while armed and you will greatly decrease your odds of being shot by police.
