a lot of times when I see the "hold back" or jr high/middle school grey shirt thing I think of a picture that was hanging in the 52 Area chow hall at Camp Pendleton of Jacklyn H. "Jack" Lucas.

When Jack Lucas was 14 years old he lied about his age so he could enlist in the Marine Corps. At 17, his actions on Iwo Jima resulted in him being awarded the Medal of Honor.

When he should have been in high school, he wasn't worried about the age of his competition, he was only concerned with winning.

Bro what is the difference between 14-18 and 15-19 for being in high school , it’s not that serious bro, plenty of kids could use that extra year of maturity before going to high school anyway

I've been around wrestling for 30+ years. I've seen BAD parents, kids, entire families. People who have a grudge against the Bassett's are laughable in every way. 

Thanks for sharing that; it is always nice to hear from someone in the know rather than the numerous rumors circulating on these boards.  As far as Bo goes, seems like a humble, genuine young man. Not a VT fan, but will be watching more of them in the future, as they will have a fun lineup soon.

Funny thing with him calling us all toothless bums though, while I was a Freshman at VT, I got both of two front teeth busted out when a girl jumped on my shoulders leaving a Jimmy Buffet party!  I put my hands up to hold her from hitting the sidewalk, so I went face first instead.  I showed my kids the spot on the sidewalk next to the 7-11 when we were out there in October.

Hokie is such a fitting name. All age cheaters are scum in wrestling. I am not involved in football or other sports, therefore its not my place to call it out. However, in wrestling, it is blatant cheating, accepted by losers and scum (you) and should be called out for what it is.
